I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS LATE TAG kingofrooks October 22 2011, 09:58:44 UTC
[ His affairs are in order and Bruce has caught himself up on the network. The Port has whispered as much secrets as she wishes to divulge to him, her voice sinuous and amused yet angry at the same time. Sylar has hurt too many, she says, and she is displeased. He isn't one of her invited and welcome guests - none of them are - but his crimes are all the greater still.

It's not difficult to find the place Peter Petrelli is living in; much less to watch until Spike has left the place. He refuses to let himself hide in the shadows himself - that would be too dependent upon his Core-given powers. That's not how he works.

He lets Petrelli have at least an hour to himself before he's sliding the window open, slipping into the house, his entrance muffled by the sounds of the TV. ]

Petrelli. I need information on Sylar.

[ It's as good an introduction as any. ]

LMAO DON'T EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT YO askedtobe October 22 2011, 12:34:20 UTC
[ Peter only jumped slightly at the voice that had seemingly come from nowhere at all. Somehow, in the past couple weeks, he'd managed to get infinitely more used to people just dropping in on him however they pleased and though he was quick to shift about and search for the source of it, he wasn't all that surprised to find Batman had made his way into his apartment.

For another second he just stares, expression darkening as he thinks. ]

Yeah? You and everyone else. [ He hasn't said no, not really, but his tone reeks of annoyed defiance.

Just because he was Batman didn't afford him the sudden luxury of having Peter spill the beans. For the same exact reasons he'd told Jason -- he didn't want to be involved with helping Sylar kill anyone else. He didn't even like the connotation that they were still connected, that he was the only one who understood. ]

[ He has no time to waste with such defiance. It's childish, selfish, and Bruce's eyes narrow immediately. The window has closed immediately around him, but there seems to be wind around his feet as he takes a single step forward, his cape's scalloped edge sweeping against his ankles. A single step, discernable by the naked eye.

Then he moves. Not through the shadows, no- just with his normal speed, reaching out to grab Petrelli by his collar. He drags him up with a single hand and slams him strange against the television.

The thing shakes. Bruce's arm doesn't. ]

I'm not here to deal with your guilt complex. [ Softly, gently. ] Neither am I asking. I could have knocked you out and dragged you with me, Petrelli.

You have his powers. You know what powers he has. And you will tell me.

[ Pulling in a hard breath before he looses all the wind from his lungs, Peter only looks angry for a few seconds, heels scrambling against the ground as he tries to get his footing. Peter could easily fight back with any number of things, just as easily try to. But he keeps his telekinesis to himself, emotions instead dulling back to frustation, but not wholly with Batman himself.

Pressing back into the television to try to earn himself some distance, he stares up at Batman, still holding on to what's left of his own fortitude. ]

Why? You already died once. Knowing what he can do won't change anything. [ but at least he doesn't sound like a defiant kid anymore, just tired of being unable to do as much about Sylar as he wishes he could. ]
