[Diego was busy reading a newspaper as he enjoyed his fifth cup of coffee here... attempting to read a newspaper anyway. It was a little difficult for him to make out the smallest text on the regular edition, though he was not about to embarrass himself in public by buying the large print edition.

At the sound of a voice he looks up and spots Kurt. A kid he's never met, but one he can recognize anywhere.]

Hey. Mr. Hummel, was it?

[showbizpanache]

That's right. [He's nervous for some reason, and it might be because thinking about August tends to make him antsy and uncomfortable.]

May I sit down?

[beenwaitinglong]

Of course. [Diego takes a moment to consolidate his multiple cups, empty and otherwise, to give Kurt some room to sit. He can tell the face of a kid with a lot on his mind.]

How have you been?

[showbizpanache]

Well enough, I suppose. [Kurt lowers himself into the seat rather stiffly, holding onto his cup with both hands.]
