Rin caught the sounds of his shuffling and then the sound of a raised voice, though she couldn't pick out the words. Still, from the tenor, she could guess it was the guy she'd just recently been talking to, so she got up and left her room to go greet him in person.

"Hey?" It wasn't an aggressive noise, just quiet but meant to catch his attention.

"Hm?" Turning his attention around to where Rin was standing, Badou stood up a little more straight that he had been. "Oh! hey!" Walking over but still keeping his distance.

She was taller than he thought she would have been.

"I'm Badou, we met briefly over eh, this?" Holding out his camera as that had been what form his communication feed was coming over.

Rin appreciated the distance, and the chance to look him over too. His red hair was as glaring and his frame as rangy as it had seemed over the video feed, and she held her ground and studied him quietly before remembering herself and smiling a little. He was Nill's friend and he'd been polite enough to her even though he was under pressure upon arrival.

"Yeah, I remember. Were you hungry...?"

Badou turned his attention from Rin to looking around the place, it seemed pretty quiet- which was nice! What, after the night he had just had in running away from God knows what had been chasing after him in the oncoming darkness.

Sure, he was Nill's friend, pretty much one of the closest she'd had back from their world, Badou might have looked a little odd, a little too tall and skinny for his age, and what with the eye patch and scars? Yea, not your first choice of friendly guys, but ask Nill, Badou was really good with people of all genders and ages.

"Does a bear shit in the w-- ah! sorry eh, I'm a little on edge still. Sure, I could murder somethin' to eat about now." Nerves getting the better of him, or he would have probably minded his manners a little better than to curse in front of her.

A high school aged kid was also sort of lurking around, uncertainly. Yosuke had found the address without too much trouble, but he hadn't quite worked up the nerves to knock on the door. He was there to pick up his stuff-well, sort of his stuff, anyway- but it was harder than he'd expected.

It was probably lucky that he'd spotted someone, or he might never have decided to go inside. Yosuke cleared his throat.

"Hello? Do you live here?"

Yea, Badou had noticed the kid lurking around, he'd not thought too much of it though, I mean, he'd been told that a fair few people lived here after all, and the uncertain look on the kids face could have easily been because Badou was a new face lurking around the place.

"Huh?" Turning as he heard the teen clear his throat, coming to stand still and face him. There was nothing that seemed threatening about Badou, so he was sure he'd not scare the kid off or anything.

"Well, I'm hopin' to. You're not from round here are you? "

The eye patch got a curious look, but Yosuke decided he'd better not ask about it. This guy was a little older than him, and taller. At least he looked pretty skinny too, so there was a chance...but it was definitely easier not to get into a fight to begin with. Yosuke rubbed the back of his neck a little awkwardly.

"Not yet. Or anymore. Something like that." He shrugged. "It's hard to explain."

Yosuke nodded towards the building. "Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's a vacancy, so you should be in luck."

It was fine, Badou was used to people looking at his eyepatch or at least asking about it. He'd gladly tell the story too, not that he thought Yosuke would be very interested in hearing it. As for the idea of fighting? Badou wouldn't harm a fly, even when he was made to fight, he would always try and just disable his foe rather than mortally wounding them.

"Sounds it." He nodded, leaning against the wall, letting Yosuke see he was relaxed at least.

Glancing back around at the building, Badou sighed. " Takin' your old room or somethin'?" He extended a hand and gave a crooked smile. " I'm Badou by the way, you got a name?"

While everyone might be in bed, Nill most certainly was not. Whether it be her ability to read minds, or simply the heavy smell of cigarettes that always followed the redhead, she could tell that Badou had made it there safely. So not more than a moment after he stepped down the hall in the direction of her room did Nill quickly dart out of it.

She gazed down the hall at him, almost a little disbelieving - it had been so long; as far as she knew, Badou had never been to the port in any way, shape or form - before a bright and vibrant smile made it's way across her face. And she quickly walked down the hall towards him, bare feet padding lightly across the ground. He was really here!

Nill wasn't the only one staring in disbelief. She looked so different, it actually took Badou a moment or two to really get his head around how much older she looked. Sure! she was still as cute as she had ever been back home, all that long golden sun kissed hair and those little wings that got her into so much trouble... but still, there was some slight hight on her and a little older body shape. Not hat Badou would mention it though, he was more pleased to just see her and see that she was alright.

"Nill!!" He called out in a booming, friendly voice, smile spilling over his voice, walking the short distance between them since Nill was already on her way to him. He stood before her, still smiling with a nod of his head and soon enough the palm with the heavy scar in it was placed lightly over top of her head in a small ruffle. "Haha, you've no idea how good it feels to see a familiar face."

Tyrell had been reading in his room, opting not to head out into the darkness that night. When he heard the unfamiliar voice in the hallway, he decided to check it out, sticking his head out the door to see to whom the voice belonged. Well, he'd been right on one thing, at least -- he definitely didn't recognize this guy.

"Hey, you new here?"

"Yup, that's me, new guy in the building."

Pointing to himself with both thumbs, looking relaxed and calm as he stood there kind of lost if he was honest. Badou smiled and nodded, extending his hand in Tyrell's direction. "Badou Nail, I just got pulled here not too long ago, I know one or two of the kids that are livin' here already so I was invited to come check this place out as a possible home.
