At the bar~

[Fai hummed along to the swift beat as he mixed together a rather strong bit of drink then offered a slightly flirty, amused smile as he set it before the one that'd ordered it, slid it lightly across the bar.]

There you go! One lovely little Acid Trip. Can I get you anything else for the moment?

[Frau has no overly large desire to be here, but he promised Fai he would stop in from time to time. While he doesn't usually bother following "orders" like that, he might need Fai's help at one point. That meant he had every intention of staying on Fai's good side. He rather liked Fai too. At least coming here, he knew he wouldn't run into Sakura.

He waited until the customer Fai was with drifted away from the bar before approaching. Frau grinned, and looked like his usual self, much different from the last time Fai had seen him.]

You're a pain in the ass, you know that?

And you're a pain in the neck~

[Fai returned the jab just as easily as he reached for a bottle, poured Frau a double shot of whiskey without bothering to ask. As he set it down before his friend, he offered a small smile.]

Haven't seen you much lately. How've you been?

[It is probably not a typical sight, a blind man with the internationally-recognizable white cane at a nightclub unaccompanied. And indeed, this sort of noisy, crowded affair is one that Snake would typically eschew. His sister is far more the type, and while he's occasionally been dragged out with her to one, they do not interest him much on his own.

The band is a bit too loud.

But this is a good place to touch minds, to train - with so many distractions. So that is what he is doing. There is an intent expression on his face, because Snake is listening.]

[Shift over, Fai sat slouched in a chair at a table near the back of the live band area, watched curiously as the seemingly blind man made his way through the crowd.

It wasn't the cane that made him stand out, however. It was the look of concentration, so at odds with the rest of the drugged out, drunken, reveling masses of dubious humanity. He watched the man, cerulean eye sharp, chin propped lightly on his hand and boot resting in an opposite chair, before he finally called out, curious.]

'Scuse me, but were you trying to find a place to sit or are you looking for someone here, perhaps?

[Snake smiles pleasantly at the young man approaching. In such a noisy place it's a little more difficult to pull out the sound of footsteps from the rest of the noise, but he also recognizes just the slightest difference in thought there. However, he finds this new person is not exactly easy to read. Which is interesting.] I am merely listening, thank you. I do not require assistance.
