Who: Reim Lunettes and Xerxes Break
When: Last week, going with Friday afternoon.
Where: Their house.
Summary: Reim is sick and stuck in bed, leaving Break to care for him. Should be a good time.

It wouldn't be a surprise in the slightest if Reim had beaten Break off for intruding his bed like that, especially when he was so under the weather like he was. Break getting sick too, however? Now there was a thought... the Clown didn't really cope well with much of anything these days, let alone a raging cold, no, it was probably for the best that he stayed away from Reim altogether when he was sick.. fat chance of that happening though.

"How do you know what well feels like? I've never felt well a day in my life and I've managed just fine~"

Break startled a little, his sightless eye growing wide when the sound of the ball bounced and hit the floor, going to grab his cain for a moment then, thinking that the sound belonged to someone trying to break in. It was sad, that depended on Reim so much, still trying to hide just how much he needed the other. Reim being stuck up in bed like this had Break's nerves up, they were the only two in the house now after all

Break looked so peaceful there, resting like that. Reim stole a glance or two (or five) before finally settling down himself, closing his eyes and letting himself drift to sleep, his hand resting on the other's shoulder.

Next Morning~

It was hard to tell what hour it was, Oscar was silent, so it might have been too early for the puppy to want to be let out into the garden, but then again it wasn't as if Break could tell the time anymore, that was a good point, he must make a note that they fix the Grandfather clock in the ahllway, it had just never been the same since Break used it as a doorway into Gilbert's room halfway across the City

Reim's off in dream land chasing after giant cats with Oscar whilst riding on skates when there's an odd press on his chest. He looks down, and there's a cat on his chest, white with one red eye staring at him. Meeeeeeeooooooooow~. He picks the creature up and places it on his head. It seems to be in the way on his chest.

Now it's rubbing its paws on his hair. Reim keeps after Oscar, his skates sailing across whatever darkened surface he's skating on top of.

Break had no idea what Reim was dreaming, but from the sound he was making, it was clear that his dreams were pleasant. That was good to know, he hated the idea of Reim's slumber being tainted with nightmares.

After a few moments of laying there still, just listening to Reim's heartbeat, he slipped his hands under Reim's pillow, pulling out a rather large lollipop ( cause clearly Break stashes candy in any place he can get it.)

Laying there now with his arms folded over Reim's chest, raising and falling lightly along with Reim's breathing, chomping away on that hard candy on a stick.

"What are you up to in that head of your's~? " He uttered curiously, lightly tapping the lollipop over Reim's nose making it just a tad on the sticky side.

As he's skating along, the cat on his head paws the back of his head once. Reim turns his head back to see the giant cat he was looking for. It's big, yellow, and his two bright green eyes. Oscar-cat! He turns around fully, facing this cat. Dog Oscar is at his side.

Then there's a crunching noise followed by a voice coming from the cat on his head. "What are you up to in that head of your's?" it asked.

"We have to find a way to defeat him."
