"How do you know what well feels like? I've never felt well a day in my life and I've managed just fine~"
Break startled a little, his sightless eye growing wide when the sound of the ball bounced and hit the floor, going to grab his cain for a moment then, thinking that the sound belonged to someone trying to break in. It was sad, that depended on Reim so much, still trying to hide just how much he needed the other. Reim being stuck up in bed like this had Break's nerves up, they were the only two in the house now after all ( ... )

It was more than just good company, more than just an old and dear friend to cuddle up with at the end of the night. Break actually cared, and the more tired and worn down he became, the more broken his frail body and mind was, the more he needed Reim to know he was needed.
"You're the one that's sick, and here I'm stealing all your warmth." Pushing up, his face lingering close to Reim's for a moment then, it looked as though he could see, the pupil, as milky as it had become, dilated going to focus on Reim. " I'll make you a cup of tea, shall I?" Pushing to sit up on his knees, letting the bed sheet fall down around his elbows.

Just as Reim was starting to relax, Break moved, his face close to his own. He became entranced with that nearly bleached out eye, those tinges of red lingering through. He couldn't see Reim's shocked impression, with just the mix of want. Of desire.
Then he moved away, sitting up, that sheet slipping down to his elbows. Reim found himself irritated, but just a little. Not enough to sigh and tear off his glasses as he normally would. "That's really not necessary, Xerxes." No, stay. Tea isn't that important. Not right now.

You win, for now Reim. Break simply shuffles about on the bed partly still over Reim, getting comfortable once more. It was warm there, Break felt safe and stress free despite the topics that haunted his mind at present.
"On second thoughts, might I stay with you tonight, Reim? I've only just started to feel warmer again."

When Break settles back down, Reim tenses up again, but only a little. After a moment, he allows himself to relax. Then the question. Reim hesitates for a moment and then sighs, looking over at the man with just the slightest hint of a smile on his face. "Even if I said 'no', you would stay, wouldn't you?" It's a nice tone, not like that normal scolding Break would receive from such a question.

Scooting up and over, back beside Reim in the bed, his bottom shuffling and pushing Reim aside, so that they could share the bed evenly. Flopping back onto the pillow, closing his eye with a pleased little sigh. " You know me too well." An amused grin painted his face, Reim was right, there was no way Break would leave, even if Reim truly wanted him to. However-
"You seem tense. Don't think I can't sense it."

Break moving closer like that made him tense up again. Then that damn statement. Break knows him too well. Maybe he could lie his way out of it. No, that would be a bad idea. Then, he'll just hide a little information - hide his true feelings for the moment. "I'm worried about getting you sick."

"I'll not get any more sick, than I've already been." Pulliing the sheet up and around Reim's chest, making sure he was warm enough and well covered up. Letting his arm rest over too, once he was done with all the fussing.
Break leant in... he was going to press a little kiss to Reim's cheek, but he stopped, parted his lips and slowly pulled away, looking so very unsure of himself, hoping that Reim didn't notice.

Then Break moved closer, then pulled away. Reim looked over at him, a little puzzled at that movement. Nope, didn't catch it. "Are you alright?"

Settling back down, shifting just a few times and laying into a comfortable spot. Closing his eye and leaning just a little against Reim for now, despite the odd feelings he was currently fighting, Break simply smiled as he always did, faking an oversized yawn and stretching out.
"Just awful tired is all."

"Then maybe you should sleep."
There's a whine from the doorway. Oscar has returned.

His hands found their resting places, one over Reim's chest, ambling fingers idol in their wander over the buttons and fabric of his night shirt, the other pushed under the pillow and back out, just to the side of Reim's face, pretty much where his nose found a place to rest also.
"I could sleep if you stopped talking, Reim. Do I have to shut you up? honestly~" Oh it was all spoken in joke, but the sleepiness in Break's tone made the statement come across as rather cute.
Turning his attention, but not his head, in the direction of the door. " Is there room for three in the bed?" A soft, sleepy chuckle in response to Oscar's whining.

He turns his attention, instead, to the dog. "He usually sleeps on the dog bed in the corner. He whines like that when he wants attention. It won't last long." Oscar whines again, though it's shorter than the last.

Silence fell over the Clown for a long moment, just the sound of his slow and deep breathing, steady and relaxed, yes he wouldn't be able to stay awake for much longer by the sound of his breaths. Though Break still had some tease left in him yet. " Shall I also whine and cry for you when I wish for your attention, Reim?" Silently chuckling, his shoulders shaking from the motion.

It's then Oscar gave up and retreated to his bed in the corner, settling quickly into the mattress.

Something Break had not done, this whole entire time he'd been in the port, was sleep safe and sound. He had always been a light sleeper if he slept at all that is, but tonight, even though Reim was still under the weather, laying there beside him, Break found enough comfort to drift off.
He looked peaceful laying there, silent and soft in expression.
