The objective is simple: to keep as many people from being killed and being injured as much as possible, and given this night, the bounty hunters won't be as numerous as they usually are (and then again, the numbers are already trickling, especially when he's been claimed).
There's no one he will leave in the lurch. If you need help, and he's there, he will be there. ]
[ ooc; uhm, if possible, label a timing? It'll be a great help! ]

I see, well I appreciate your assistance, myterious stranger.
[He watches him calmly, if he had wanted to attack him or steal something he would have by now]
How may I be of service?

This sector. The Darkness proofing is falling apart more than in this building, and most people don't have fire on their fingertips.
[ He jerks his head, half-commanding. ]
Make yourself useful.

Very well.
[He then instantly brightens]
But first I will finish my tea! Care for a cup?

[ And he's kicking off the ledge and disappearing into the night! He'll be keeping a lookout for you, Iroh. ]

[Takes a seat and sips at his tea serenely. He had met a strange man today. It seemed as though his apartment wouldn't be safe for the night. Going around fighting these Darkness creatures did not seem the most pleasurable way to be spending an evening, but he had said he would. So he would grab the picture of his son and be on his way. It would be an interesting night at the very least, and he could likely learn more about these creatures which infested the night]

She's nearly exhausted but still going. She's kept her wings in for the most part, using the rooftops to her advantage to get where she needs to go. She's quick, avoiding as many monsters as possible, but she's running out of steam.
A leap across the rooftops is interrupted by that fabled Icarus Winged and it slams into her, throwing her towards the pavement. She manages to break her fall with her claws scraping the sides of the buildings but she still drops, hitting a car and bouncing off of it. She strikes the ground and winces, sliding under the car so the creature can't get to her. She loads up her gun.]

The motorbike has run out of fuel, so he's back to grapples again. But it's fine, because he's just covering Sectors 8 and 9 and 10- the sectors clad in complete darkness. And he's just swinging over the rooftop when he hears a goddamn car cave in and he's changing directions, moving there and ( ... )

No sense in letting people know it exists.
She turns and sees him, scaling the nearby wall to get up to his side.]
Thanks.
[She straightens when she gets to the rooftop.]
Are you hurt?
Reply
So that's how it's used.
[ Yes, he's ignoring the question. And he's frowning a little, focused already on the bullet. His injuries are clear enough, but they don't matter. ]
I didn't see light.

It exploded inside of the creature. Sometimes, you won't see it.
[She puts what's left of the shell into his hand. It's an admission of trust since that truly is her one weakness. He can replicate the casings but not the UV rays. Not without her and Daedalus' help.]
Reply
Never mind that. ]
Would it have any effect on you, if you see it?
Reply
[Thankfully, of course. Even being near her wouldn't hurt her in the slightest. It's the direct contact... Daedalus has even told her that it doesn't kill the Amrita cells, but simply makes them disappear for an undetermined amount of time.]
...Feasibly, if I survived the bullet wound itself even after someone shot me, I would be all right. But I don't think I want to test that idea.

I would be checking your sanity if you do want to.
[ There's a pause, then he looks at her. ]
It's late. [ Implied: what is she still doing here, when he knows he's been working the whole day? ]
Reply
Just because my name isn't Batman doesn't mean I shouldn't be out here helping.
[She frowns.]
I've told you before. This is my city and I need to protect it too, no matter how long it takes. It's the same for you.

[ There's a trail of amusement in his tone, barely there but still noticeable, if she's listening closely enough. His lips quirk. ]
Your shift is long over; if you keep working this hard, you're going to make the rest of the station look bad.
[ It's an acknowledgment, in a way. Of Bruce Wayne's existence and closeness to her, while he's wearing the Bat's form. ]
