Summary: Outer Heaven now has bright pink sonidoing kittens running around. They're all fucked.

[If Liquid had followed Szayel's advice and adjusted the security system to allow him through (assuming it was even up), it wouldn't have made a difference anyway. Szayel ran into Outer Heaven so fast, he wasn't even a blur on the camera, and for anyone in the room with Liquid and Banana, one minute there as nothing, and the next, there was a crazy pink scientist that looked like he sonidoed around the world in 80 seconds.]

Is it over? Are they well?

[It was up, and functional. And Liquid was quite surprised to find the sudden and frazzled arrival of the insane-looking man.]

It's over. And see for yourself. [He lifted a hand and pointed leisurely at the small litter. Five little pink kittens were cuddled up on the bed. A sixth one, far tinier than the others and far weaker in appearance, rested in Liquid's arms.]

[Szayel gingerly approached the bed, mindful of the kittens as he sat down, gently patting Banana as he observed his offspring. His attention flicked up to Liquid a moment, a concerned frown on his face.]

Will that one make it?

I think so. It was touch and go for a few moments, but it seems to be alright now. As long as it gets enough food it should be fine.

[Banana tiredly nuzzled Szayel's hand affectionately.]

[Yazoo missed the birthing, mostly because he doesn't really care. A few days later, however, he'll find himself in Outer Heaven with it's normal same sense of balanced chaos as ever...

[Liquid himself is staying close to those kittens and their mother, watching them like a hawk when he's not working. There's an air of nervous energy around.

The kittens haven't even opened their eyes yet, but he's on edge. If these demon cats really do have powers... then that's going to be troublesome. Already there's signs that they're abnormal. He's taken to carrying the weakest one around with him.]

Yazoo. Please avoid disturbing the kittens.

Kitten?

[Well if anything, that only perks his interest as to what you have going on around here, Liquid. He leans in some to see the pink ball of fluff that the other has, eyebrow raised.]

[The smallest and frailest of the pink kittens squirms in Liquid's arms weakly.]

Yes. These kittens have just been born. We've got to wait a few weeks before we can see if they develop the powers their parent holds. Until then, they're at least as fragile as any other new born.
