Who: Grell Sutcliff and YOU! When: Sunday, July 17, after sirens. Where: Anywhere Summary: Like a bad penny, Grell returns - as a Darkness Monster! Warnings: NC-17! TENTACLES! Nothing to see here folks, move along...
[Uryuu's normally crisp, white uniform is stained murderous colors beneath the night's unusual rain. Even his hair has lost its poise, stuck to his face, wet and limp. He doesn't care; tonight has been a night for slaying.
His bow dissipates as he straightens, swiping bloody streaks from his lenses for the thousandth time as he catches his breath. He's already been out longer than he'd planned to be, but even that's a useless detail right now. There's no going home until the angry frustration in his chest loosens enough to ease the strain on his heart.
It's going to make for a long evening.
...Longer still, once he realizes what he's standing near. But at the moment, a flower is the last things worth the Quincy's attention.]
Saying 'hello' would be nice. There's nothing at all wrong with talking to one's plants, particularly if you've got the sort of plant that answers. ]
Hn~!
[ Even though this monster is almost entirely mindless, there is some faint flicker of recognition in its magnoliophytic brain. It knows you, Uryuu. And is so happy to see you.
So happy, in fact, that it winds its little tendril about Uryuu's ankle - and releases a sweet perfume, designed to relax and allay all suspicion.
Though he did not often vocalize his likes and dislikes, Destiny was rather fond of his place of residence. An abode he once shared with the late Poison Ivy, it was a secluded location in the woods, surrounded by nature.
Tonight he lingered outside, the pitter patter of drops falling from leaf to leaf filled the air. Red rain trickled down the branches and dropped onto Destiny's hood. He kept his book closed tight, tucked safely beneath an arm. Something kept him from stepping inside. It was not the howls and barks of encroaching monsters nor the creeping decay. Something else interesting enough to capture the Eldest Endless' attention.
The rose's petals quiver and unfurl in the steady, bloody rain, as if the flower is drinking it up. Presently it turns and strains towards Destiny, so that its little glasses, and pointy TEETH are visible.
Haruhi pranced down to the Tower Apartments, arriving just as the sun was setting. Supposedly, these things came out in the Darkness, right? Well, whoever this little girl was, she'd vowed to educate her properly -- and, to kill two birds with one stone, this was definitely conceivably an adventure, albeit possibly one of a genre Haruhi was not a huge fan of. Still, it was something new to do, right?
She pranced up to the main doors, looking around for the girl.
[ooc: Haruhi is basically kidnapping Nadeko to go see what the fuss is all about. Feel free to tag in when appropriate!]
Nadeko, as promised, was waiting down in front of the Tower Apartments, hat obscuring her eyes from most of the world and hands tugging her jacket closer to her body, even despite the fact that the weather was rather hot.
She looked up as she heard footsteps, curiously peeking out from under the rim of her hat and keeping an eye on the other girl.
Okay ... this must have been the girl who was coming to get her.
Well, there was only one obvious wallflower waiting outside the Apartments! Haruhi, dressed rather elegantly in a black outfit, marched up to her and poked her in the chest with a finger.
"Hey!" she said, briskly. "You're the hentai girl, right?"
...which may have been way too loud for anyone's comfort.
There's another obvious wallflower too. Or at least - a flower growing out of a wall. Just outside the doorway, there's a red rose on a thorny vine. It bobs in the breeze, petals fluttering.

But these brazen flirtations have no effect. So a little rootlet creeps out from the pavement - and tugs on the hem of Uryuu's trouser leg. ]

...Which fades, by and by, until the Quincy holds nothing in his hands but what one can only assume is the shattered remains of his reality.
That flower has glasses and a mouth.]
A-ah - [WHAT DOES HE EVEN DO WITH THIS.]

"Rose?" it asks.
Although its precise question is unclear.
