Jubilee had wanted to run a quick thieving run - granted, they didn't need to, but it was good to keep the skills sharp - before heading home or maybe somewhere else. Magneto as a nine year old was a brat.

She cracked her gum, scampering along the road. Honestly, she didn't need to steal but she'd been working so hard and hidingthat she hadn't had a chance to go do some of that major shopping she wanted to do.

... And that bright pink top? Was totally her style. Time to stop moping and get on with being awesomely herself.

That was when she saw the green glow. "Great. Now what?" Magneto was a kid, so this better not need him.

That was when she saw Julian at the middle of it. Her hands sparked and she jumped onto the fire escape. There was a sharp PAF and a piece of metal was suddenly in her hands. She began swinging it, and using her PAFs to take out knees so they couldn't get up and keep coming. She used her piece of metal to take off the head of one of the attackers and finally saw what the green was. "Julian?" She said, ( ... )

It was a nice night to be killing things, that was for sure. Deadpool had heard from some random girl that there was a good deal of fun to be had at night, and he was happy to see she hadn't lied. It had taken him a little while to get used to picking through the stench of night but his senses were keen enough to catch the more subtle hints of familiar creatures, in this case people ( ... )

The worst part about this place according to Frau was definitely what he was currently wading through. The endless stream of monsters with souls so corrupt that he doubted even a bascule would be able to free them. Good thing he had a different method.

Numbers weren't the problem. Even the fact that he had to use the scythe wasn't a problem. The problem was that he had this feeling deep down inside that told him he couldn't free these people, if they could still be called that. He didn't like it. Zehel and the scythe were supposed to be able to sever any bond, yet here he was unable to do that for more than a single night. Not a pleasant thought ( ... )
