[It was sort-of a date, but he didn't want to push it too much.

But Joe did feel incredibly lucky. Two girls in one day? Had a picnic with Ahiru for lunch that morning, which...had been a little surprising, but still fun. It was always interesting, spending time with girls, even without anything serious in mind. They were...nice in ways any teenage boy could appreciate, although Joe wasn't particularly infatuated with any one over the other ( ... )

[Though she was doing an excellent job of blocking outside sources of thought out for once, it sort of made her a bit less observant than usual; and so Nill didn't manage to notice Joe coming until he was walking up to her. Despite that she offered him a small smile, which quickly turned to a flustered sort of grin at the flowers as she takes them.

It would probably be best not to surprise him by using her psychic 'voice' though, wouldn't it? She reasoned that it would, at least, and quickly pulled out her NV, typing quickly on it despite using one hand.

"They're so pretty! Thank you!" To say Nill liked flowers would be an understatement. Nill fidgeted though, glancing around for a moment before shaking her head. Really, she'd only ever been to the U-Mall a handful of times at best, and she didn't exactly eat out often. "Burger king?" ]

[If they had been roses, Joe might have felt like a gigantic creep- like Marluxia, but at least she seemed to like them, which was a good start.

It wasn't until she whipped out her NV and began typing that he even remembered that the girl couldn't talk- it would be awkward, probably, to ask why. So he didn't. Not yet.

Grinning, he slouched his hands comfortably into his pockets.]

Why is it all the cute girls like burgers?

[Maya had wanted burgers too, but- hm. Come to think of it, Joe had a better idea than Burger King.]

We should go up to the second story- there's a better one up there, they make good milkshakes and soda floats, and there's a stool counter to sit at, and there's jukeboxes you can play music on. Plus they've give you ranch with your onion rings.

[Nill's wings fluttered in a flustered sort of way, though she made no move to comment on being called cute. Did other girls like burgers? She'd always thought that was a guy thing - Though Naruto liked ramen the best, so maybe it was actually a girl thing.

But she perked up slightly a the mention of a jukebox. Nill didn't have much preference in the way of food, but music was always a more than welcome option; so she nods her agreement to the idea rather enthusiastically, seeing no need to type up a message for a response this time.]
