[Tom finally arrives, escorted by two guards. He looks confused, but it's not like he hasn't gotten random visitors before. They just usually turned out to be one of his victims, is all.

They sit him down on the other side of the table, fastening both wrists to the built in couplet and leaving with a wary nod to the woman. For a crazy murderer, people sure came to see him a lot.

"Take your time, and holler if he gives you any trouble." One says over his shoulder before the door is closed. "We'll be right here."

Tom waits a good minute after they leave to look up. It doesn't matter how many times people come, it still makes him nervous. They never come with good news...not that he deserves it.

Expecting to go through the same song and dance, he stays silent. This is about their closure, not his.]

[Daphne looks at the guards as if they are just completely wasting her time by not being out of the room already the entire time they're setting Tom up for this little get together, and when they finally leave she drops the folder down on the table.

It's holding two, rather thick, stapled reports, and a small stack of glossy photos covered by a basic profile sheet with his mugshot on it. She looks him up and down for a moment, and then stands up from where she's been leaning on the table.]

[Partly because it is really, honestly a little impossible to stay still, Daphne starts walking around the room as she talks.]

[He doesn't know her, which makes him nervous. she's also moving a lot. This makes him more nervous. The file on the table suggested some kind of official visit, he guessed police but with no uniform he couldn't be sure. Maybe a detective.]

[Daphne has made her way mostly around the room, so by the time she starts talking again, she's standing behind him. She doesn't seem to care for the fact that hovering over someone's shoulder is both generally rude, and paranoia educing, but continues on.]

Yep. I'm here to make all of your problems go away.

[She pauses for effect, then takes the step further to stand beside him, leaning against the table again.]

And...I mean all your problems. Including the one rolling around in your head.
