4/22 After sirens thelittlestbub April 22 2011, 19:44:02 UTC
Jubilee ghosted down the hall, keeping her head down and ignoring the nurses. She slid a doctor's lab coat on - it was Mags' but she was sure that he'd understand - and grabbed a clipboard. No one stopped her.

She slipped into the ICU and opened Magneto's door. She pulled the blinds, just like a doctor or nurse would. Then, she slid up to the side of the bed and touched his shoulder. "Mags." She whispered. Jubilee was out stealing. She'd only stopped here because powers were back to normal and he would want to know that. A small PAF hovered over her shoulder, offering the only illumination outside of the machines monitoring him.

He looked up. In some ways, he looked worse than he had before. It wasn't something he was willing to talk about, the stubborn set of his jaw explained that.

When he eyed the paf, he tapped the bracelets together, shivering as his powers, HIS powers kicked back on. Almost immediately, the monitors changed. His heart rate lowered and evened, his blood pressure dropped, his breathing slowed. Instead of reading what one would except for a badly inured old man, they were those of an extremely in shape athlete. Even his frame seemed to fill out, bulkier and more well built. He closed his eyes and blinked them open, focusing.

"There's a radio frequency missing. SERO?" His voice was soft, curious.

She grinned. There was the Mags she knew. She hooked a stool with a foot and dragged it over so they could talk softly.

"I don't know. SERO claims they fixed something." She shrugged. "All I know is that everything is back. My powers have calmed down. Had to come see if yours were back." She pulled the bag off her shoulder and dug through it. First came out his own pajamas, his robe, his cape, and with a soft ting... the helmet. "Brought you a few things from home that I thought would make your stay a bit more comfortable."

That? That's a shit eating grin.

"I'll do without the shirt. Not worth annoying the broken bones." The bracelets lifted off and landed silently in the bag. The pyjama pants seemed to liquefy and flow, running up his legs and solidifying into pants again. The cape similar flowed, latching over his left shoulder and he pulled the hospital grown away. The helmet lifted and landed in his lab, partly covered by the cape. Unstable molecules bonded with metal threads meant he never actually needed his hands to dress. Inside the room, the faint, sharp smell of ozone picked up faintly.

"I'll be home in a few days, at most. But thank you." It was no longer an option otherwise. Even still, the helmet and the cape broke a wave of relief over him, almost as much as having his powers back.

Integra had been surprised that they had managed to keep Walter in the hospital for so long. Part of that may of had to do with her insistence that her butler stay here until he got better, showing an perhaps surprising amount of concern through demanding that of him. But here in this place Walter was just more than her caretaker, he was her friend, and someone who she looked out for as much as he did for her.

He is not the only one who had been in the hospital from that incident, however, and that Saturday afternoon when she finds out said other man has been moved to step down, Integra takes the time to slip away after Walter has fallen asleep to go and see him. A hand on the frame of the room, she knocks once before poking her head in, looking around. "Mister Xaiver?"

Erik probably looked...well a sight, his 'good' leg propped up on his helmet, and his cape wrapped around him in lieu of a shirt. Slowly the machines wheeled back and forth, as he enjoyed USING his powers.

"Sir Hellsing. Hello my dear." He was surprised to see her. He had thought she might have been upset that Walter had gotten hurt saving him.

Initially she had been upset, but Integra knew Walter had his reasons for doing things. If it had not been worth it to the other, he would of not gone though with it, this she accepts as fact.

"Good afternoon." She says, the formality a little awkward as blue eyes follow the machines skittering about in the room before she catches her attention wandering and turns it back to him. "I heard you were doing better, so I thought I might come visit."

He motioned the machines to slide back into place. "Much better." Sort of - his powers helped a LOT. "Thank, I'm grateful for the company. How is Walter?" No one would TELL him, and it was only after being moved to step down he'd found out at all that Walter was even IN the hospital to begin with.

Phibrizzo was grateful to have his usual powers back instead of that awful healing. It had served a functional purpose - getting his rent taken care of for the next couple of months - but ultimately he was glad to be back to his usual self. It meant the negative emotions he consumed weren't tainted by people's relief and joy at being healed. The staff at Siren's Port General Hospital were immensely disappointed when he returned to normal, which had been satisfying in and of itself.

The only purpose he didn't achieve was using the overwhelming mass of healing energy to benefit Michael and thus continue to make a good impression. Even so, he wouldn't be blamed for not showing up. Only family had been permitted to show up until just the other day, when Phibrizzo's powers were already back to normal.

He poked his head into Michael's hospital room, a backpack filled with books and other things slung over his shoulder as he approached.

"Michael?"

Erik had finally convinced the nursing staff he was capable of shaving without having an 'accident' with the blade. He had to admit, he felt better. He'd even gotten his pants on, over his cast, and altered the fabric to look finished. He'd gotten his cape around him enough to cover his chest, right shoulder, and right arm - supporting the cast and acting as a sling, while still covering his back and the upper portion of his left arm. One of the nurses had to admit, he wore it well, looking polished despite the circumstances.

He even had his helmet under his foot again, acting as a footrest for his good leg. A box was on the floor, various types of wires coiled inside, while hovering above his lap some of the wires worked themselves, the thicker wires stretching out, the thin wires of various colors of copper, silver, and gold weaving together to form multi-fractal tesseracts within tesseracts. To someone who knows him well, he's both bored and antsy.

"Hello Phibrizzo."

"I brought you some books," Phibrizzo announced, dumping his bag unceremoniously out onto the floor. He had strayed away from science books. If Michael was fit to teach the subject, he probably wouldn't be interested in anything that Phibrizzo found on the topic in the library.

Instead, he brought a history book, two of Shakespeare's plays (Othello and King Lear), and a magazine about those strange metal carriages that moved without horses, cars. He set the magazine beside Michael. A curvacious woman sat on a fancy looking red car on the front.

"I'm not sure why there's a lady sitting on the car," he commented. "I thought people were supposed to ride in them."

"Oh, thank you." He was oddly touched by that - and grateful, now that his sight was back to normal and he could read and enjoy it. He looked over the books - the history book he hadn't read, but the plays he had. Not that he minded rereading them. He eyed the magazine, looking over the car as much as he was looking over the woman.

"Mostly to catch the eye of men and woman who find her attractive. But yes, you ride in them."
