Why in the world their practice would be at a genuine hotel--

Allen kept his sighing inside of himself, right alongside the slight humiliation and bits of discomfort with the entire idea; he'd long been a master of putting on faces, whether they were smiles or a card shark's, but being a 'master...'

He'd do it, of course, as long as Seth had those plans. And speaking of - he entered into the noise of the hotel, glanced left and right, adjusting the only 'good' suit he had on hand (which, by this world's standards, seemed good enough, but which by his world's standards would have had him getting the evil eye in any ritzy place) absentmindedly. He didn't feel anxious or nervous or anything like that: just reluctance, vague but there, and where in the world was Seth?

...

No way.

"... Ah." He almost blurted out Miss Seth? right along with it, but his raised eyebrows at the girl with the-- very very short dressed should've worked just as well. Forget being irritated; this was just shocking. Well, not too shocking, but - shocking

Seth looks up languidly at first---she'd zoned out for a bit---but once she realizes it's none other than Allen, she quickly breaks into a perky, cute little grin----a little unlike her normal mischievous one----and if he felt awkward before, well...

...Well, he's about to enter the point of no return, since now she's moving unnervingly fast for someone in heels and has since bounded into his arms, wrapping her own around his neck (not tightly, but enough to make it look convincing to anyone else passing by) and purring sweetly:

"Ma~ster!"

And then craning over and whispering in his ear (in her normal tone of voice), "...how's that?"

"... Like you're being paid way too much..."

His voice came out a bit strained, just a touch strangled, but overall ah-ha I can't believe this is happening. His right hand patted her on the back as if welcoming it, though; what else could he do? She, with her outfit and make-up and essentially everything else, was giving him flashbacks to his own Master's "girls," the ones that were occasionally nice, occasionally mean and occasionally way too nice.

After a few moments (keeping his gaze up!), he moved to push her back, get some space again: she may have already seen his arm at work, but he still wasn't one to enjoy having his so-called personal bubble invaded. Whether it was an act or not.

"... I don't believe we should be staying here." Out loud, not that anyone was eavesdropping; it really was more of a question (where are we going?), but that wouldn't be right.

Seth tilts her head to the side for a second, and then puts a finger to her chin in thought after Allen moves away from her. "Maybe I should tone it down a little..." she remarks. "Less cute, and more seductive and alluring, perhaps?"

And she laughs. That may or may not have been a joke. Either way, she's not about to divulge. She'd seen courtesans back in the Empire, but wanted to go with an act that fell more in line with her physical appearance---thinking outside of that box didn't make her nervous in the slightest, though. She could do foxy enchantress if she really wanted to.

"Oh, but you should've picked me up into your arms and pretended to ravish me right then and there!" She jokingly complains, twirling a bit, then pouting somewhat. "It's okay to be a little aggressive, you know---girls kind of like it, half the time! Besides, who's ever heard of a gentlemanly slave master ( ... )
