Some of you may know me from the work I do at Lion's Gate, and some of you may know me from the Newcomer Political Party. I am glad that you all could come to this meeting, and to let your voice be heard. I'm sure that once everyone is on the same page, we won't have any problems in working through this issue.
Thank you.

I'm primarily here today in the interests of preserving on-site health care and other issues of welfare for newer arrivals at the Towers.

Bonjour, I am Francis Bonnefoy... I currently live at the Tower Apartments, and I have been for two months now. [He'll just neglect to mention he's moving out because of the SERO/AGI debacle.] There are... quite a lot of doubts in the minds of a Newcomer, especially when we first arrived here - how we were going to get a job, if we were ever going to return home, and so forth. But there has always been one sure fact in our minds, and that is ( ... )

"Your estimates have discounted property tax, which up to this point has been waived, as the Tower Apartments have been a holding of the city government. However, everything appears to be in order with regards to other costs- running water, electricity, waste removal (Mmh, though that will probably spike in the coming months), gas, heat,- the air conditioning units, which are still installed by apartment, emergency darkness proofing coverage....all the amenities previously funded jointly by AGI and SERO ( ... )

Well he's tempted to bring up the elevator first, but someone will surely mention that, so instead he returns to the delicate subject that Lexaeus once appalled him with.]
Now...I haven't been situated in the Towers for some months myself, but...while I was there, I remember there was definitely some concerns about bats nesting in the walls, in the insulation- or they could have been mice, possibly.
I'm not sure what the state of things are now, as far as small rodents, or insect infestations. If anyone could confirm that for us...
[He glanced around hopefully, mostly at Himawari, who had been living in the Towers as he'd been in the city.]
So...is a routine pest control, or at least an evaluative inspection too much to ask?
Mold too. Mold is terrible for those with respiratory problems.

Nevermind that he was no longer a resident in the apartments themselves. But the possibility that more of his people may arrive and need a place to stay was still a concern, so when the floor opened to provide ideas on improvement Minato finally spoke up.While many of us have arrived in the city relatively healthy there has been, on occasion, an arrival that required medical assistance. Injuries, both short and long term. My concern is for the accessibility of the apartments to such individuals, the elevators have not been in working condition since my own arrival and I've learned they have in fact not been in use for some time ( ... )

Luckily this man, who was bordering on morbidly obese, at least seemed a bit sympathetic to the thought of doing 12 floors on foot.
"The installation of wheelchair ramps at the entranceways? We can take care'a that too. My cousin Vinny owns an affiliated concrete company. I'll have his boys down by next friday to pour a ramp for the front."

While one man was peering through his camera watching everything through the lens and the other was recording the sound, Ro had her back to the wall between them, hand on her chin and listening.
Politics weren't really her thing, and she had been out of the Tower Apartments for a long time. But this was something important to her and apparently everyone else that had ever arrived here against their will (or not). So she listened, intently.]

She's still thoroughly embarrassed by her Jokerization episode, but she's hoping no one will hold it against her-- there's still a tinge of green in her hair, despite her best efforts to dye it back over. ]

Maybe he should have just stayed home and napped, after the morning's stadium game and a night shift at Merlotte's ahead of him.
So Joe's leaning back in one of the folding chairs, feet up on the empty seat in front of him, eyes closed and dozing off.]

I'd like to ask for a topic to be presented during our next meeting, if that's okay. I know it's in advance...but I want to give everyone a head's up so that they're properly prepared.
At the moment people arrive here with no paperwork at all, or rarely a single form of identity which wouldn't be recognised by the Siren's Port authorities. In my opinion we need to organise thorough paperwork for people that integrates with the system...so that they don't fall out of it and end up like Shikamaru Nara and Sam Merlotte. Our... Our right to self-ownership is still in question, and recently it's become more important than ever that something be done about it.
[A pause.I know that a few people wouldn't want to enroll in anything which recorded their names, and that's fair, but there are risks we're all running associated with that that need to be addressed. In reality the companies ( ... )
