[ACTION] OPEN MEETING FOR THE TOWER APARTMENTS
Who: The head committee of the Newcomer Political Party, ALL NEWCOMERS, SERO and AGI representatives, and some NPC security guards.
When: April 12th. 4:00 pm.
Where: The Newcomer Community Center
Summary: An OPEN MEETING is being held to discuss problems with the Tower Apartments, and to get immediate feedback from the reps from AGI and SERO as to how the newcomers and companies can work out a deal to keep the Tower Apartments in the hands of the newcomers.
Warnings: Political shenanigans. There should not be any other warnings beyond possible swearing.
Everything had been assembled quickly after Raul Creed had talked to the representatives from SERO and AGI. They had agreed to send people to this rush meeting to talk about why the Tower Apartments should be given to the Newcomers rather than the companies. While the companies were reluctant to let it go, they had agreed to hear them out.
There were chairs for everyone who wanted to sit down, a podium in the center where each Newcomer could come and state their case, and what they wanted to be done, with the committee in front of them, all seven of them sitting at the table in the front. The camera crew was allowed space in the back to record everything, and the representatives were given their own chairs so that they could be there to say yes or no.
Raul Creed would be keeping this meeting on topic and in order as best he could; this was not the time for anything outside of ordinary to happen.
OOC: Okay guys, here’s how it’s going to go. As you can see, there are sections in this log post again, where your character should respond to. For the seven people who are on the NPP committee, just respond to the first section so that everyone can know who is on the committee as of this moment, and what their occupation is. No one else should reply to this section.
Second section is for everyone else; most specifically, those who are living in the Tower Apartments, and those who will be the most affected by SERO and AGI owning the apartments. You can each make a case for why the apartments should be in Newcomer hands by replying to the section with a comment with your character giving their reasons. This is important: This is just about the apartments, not to have anyone gripe about the companies. Save those for a later date guys, because if your character goes off track, Raul Creed will bring them back on track and have your character go sit down, or kindly ask them to leave.
The third section is for when it has been decided that the Newcomers will be given the apartments, with SERO and AGI using the bulletin boards in the lobby of the Tower apartments as a recruitment board, and will also have the very top floor exclusively for their use. This is non-negotiable. If your character does not agree with this, then they can leave, no one will stop them. However, because of this deal, SERO and AGI will foot the bill for renovations to the buildings that anyone might want.
Here is where you tell the group what needs to be fixed in the apartments; such things as better stairs, the elevator needs fixing, lighting in the rooms, etc. Whatever your character brings up will be added to the list in this post that I will keep updating as more ideas come forth.
Now, there are AGI and SERO reps being played out by our lovely mods, and they will have the ability to either approve or deny these requests; this will also be reflected in the list if they are going to get fixed, or not. I have a list of the current agenda, what will be going in each section, and the list of repairs needed right below this. To make this easier, we’re going to do everything in action tags, which will hopefully make everything go faster as well.
All NPP board members are welcome to reply to any of the requests or to the damage reports. Everyone is also highly encouraged to use our fourth section, with character reactions to what is being said, to talk to other characters and get a feel for what other people might be thinking and feeling.

The end result of this will be that AGI and SERO will gain partial occupation of the bottom and top floors, and anything requested budgeting wise will get approved between them.
