[His sigh slips out as he lightly touches the door -- phasing through the material to the other side. Pulling himself through the door, he stretches his arms above his head as soon as he fully entered. The air shifts as he allows himself to be seen. Poor Jarvis was a necessary sacrifice to keep him from becoming too upset with other friends. Yet he is no the one who killed him, as he keeps his promises to his friends to have those that they wish to kill as a means to keep the peace with them ( ... )

[Phoenix, moving papers vaguely with his free hand, didn't notice Yaha until the man was literally upon him, dropping with a thump that startles him to put his head on his knee. He almost jumps from his seat, hands flying up wildly only to seize the desk at the very last second.

Because this sudden blond head--this blond head belongs to Yaha. He recognises the colour, but it could be anyone's; the ears are the giveaway. Phoenix falls deathly still and listens, making no move to shake him off. Is he...crying?

This killer. This villain. This monster. Coming to me after a little bit of bad press. How did he get in?

Still, his silence and inaction is probably a good thing. It gives him time to steal himself.]

My darling pretty bird.

[Yaha has heard the cries and screams of others enough that he knows how to make his voice sound the same. Knows how to make it hitch and where. Too frightened or depressed to be able to say much.

Yet his own mood was quite content -- Urick has been returned to him, his friendships with those dear remained, and a problem that might have arose from keeping Jarvis was dealt with. This is just another game that he decides to play as he remembers that Phoenix asks him to be something to be loved.

He shakes his head as he keeps his head pressed against the material of his pants -- resisting the urge to lick it until it is properly wet. Still, he does like the smell of him.]

Jarvis is dead.

[Definitely crying. Still, Dahlia had cried before, and she had been just as good an actor; cried for the court to prove that she was innocent. He couldn't go accusing Yaha of murder, so it seemed to him he had little choice but...well, to drop his hand, patting Yaha awkwardly on the head.]

It's uh...it's alright.

[Now I've said it I realise just how weird those words are. When people die, how can it be 'alright' at all?]

I don't think that it will be...

[His head gives a little tilt as he leans a little into the hand upon his hair. It is nice that he is touching him so easily, even if the soft pats are awkward. Shoulders shake just a little more -- reminds him of how they would shake on those begging for their life -- as he rests his mouth against the leg once more, mumbling the rest of his words.]
