Who: Axel and Riku When: Sunday night Where: Riku's apartment Summary: Someone's got a new temporary houseguest. At least this time he was invited to crash Warnings: None
[Riku comes home from being out in the dark after midnight, tired and aggravated. He runs a hand through his silver bangs, shoving them out of his eyes a little and immediately divesting himself of his coat. He locks up quickly and yawns, heading into the kitchen and flicking one of the lights on.]
Ebony, food.
[He sets some out for the cat and then turns on the little night light for the kitchen for her, turning off the main light so he can head away. He spots the TV on, his senses filling with a familiar smell as he rounds the corner on the couch-]
[He wakes up to the sound of the door opening and closing, but doesn't see any need to get up from the couch; it'd mean having to move Winner anyway, who's draped contentedly over his legs, having eaten earlier. The TV's showing some informercial, and he watches disinterestedly while he waits for Riku to appear.]
Hey. [Glancing up, he raises a hand in greeting.] Thought I might as well take you up on it. It's no fun sleeping out in the rain.
[Doing what he often does when he's not working, fighting in the Darkness, throwing away all the thoughts that endlessly circle his mind and just losing himself to violence. But it was a risk the night before; it's been too long since he slept, and the strain showed on him.

Did you really sleep out in the rain last night? [A pause.] Have you eaten?

Lack of food doesn't help either.] I could eat.
