The second Lucy heard Desmond's voice on the NV system she had a variety of mixed emotions. Worried of course, that he was stuck here now too, maybe even a little panic that their present was left without him to finish the task ahead of them. Above all, though, she was happy to hear a familiar voice. As she hurried down the 13 flights of stairs from her starter apartment and down to the baseball diamond, she went over everything she'd need to tell him in her head, questions she wanted to ask about if time had continued on without her or if things had 'frozen' more or less.
However, when she spotted him, for the moment all her careful topic cataloging went out the window, and she smiled, quickening her pace.
"Desmond! Over here!"
