HI BABY I AM UNFASHIONABLY LATE AND I AM SORRY tiersdes January 9 2011, 04:36:03 UTC
There's more where that elephant came from. Well, except 'more' quickly becomes 'less' as Mutations suddenly get sliced up into ribbons by what appears to be a black blur dashing and jumping about, limbs falling to the ground with sickening thuds and splashes as their black and putrid blood spills all over the place.

"---Pesky little buggers---"

When Seth finally lands on the ground, brandishing a pair of nasty-looking daggers and dressed up in a slinky black ensemble well-suited to an assassin of some sort, she looks up and sees Allen and the elephant, quickly dashing over to where the former of the two is.

She winks at him, grinning as if there's totally nothing going on, like they're at some social gathering, or something. Seth has since learned, after 900 years, to see danger as amusement---there's no easy way to kill her, after all. "Need some help, I gather?" She asks, in way of greeting, before turning to the elephant and brandishing her daggers once more. "You're Allen, I hope?"

"Ah--"

He might've had the headache of (two) a lifetime, but that paled a bit in comparison to this... new development. He blinked at her, almost owlishly, Innocence lowering for a brief second before the situation snapped back into focus. "- It's fine, really, er- yes, I'm Allen - Miss Seth?"

Forget not including titles for a minute, or marveling over her weird entrance. The monster seemed a bit confused, too, for a second, but then it was charging, and Allen reacted instinctively - a large claw, straight through its 'face.' More accurately, through its jaws. If she was wearing an assassin's get-up, he was wearing his exorcist coat (he never took it off, really), and it helped a bit against the splash of gore that followed the attack.

The thing wasn't down yet, though-- it charged with its last burst of energy, shambling on rocking legs. Allen was swinging around; couldn't let it hit a building--!

"The one, the only---!"

Seth gives him one last wink before the monster starts lashing out, at which point she somersaults over the thing---its awful stench makes her reel somewhat beforehand. When Allen unleashes his Innocence, however, she feels her Crusnik nanomachines twitch, causing her to wince momentarily. That's when she immediately knew.

He was a weapon, just like her. Once she's in good enough range, she slices the thing's back legs as she twists and spins around in mid-air, to hamper its movements. When she's done, she lands gracefully on her feet, and dashes right back to it, sliding right underneath it to slice through its front legs. For someone so small and light, Seth puts an awful amount of force behind her attacks.

The thing lets out a baleful roar, and crashes to the ground, crippled.

He didn't really have the time to respond, instead darting in the second the monster fell to the ground - went straight for the stomach area with a burst of speed, ripping through first it and then out of its back with as much strength as he could muster in the limited activation he had his Innocence in. The thing's bone structure was twisted, mutilated; it took a while to work through the rib cage, but he did it, perching on its side and just grabbing, tearing, anything, rather single-mindedly.

There'd been hesitance over doing this, when he'd first arrived at Siren's Port-- but now there was none, and the monsters were treated the exact same as he had treated akuma: things to release through destruction. Innocence wasn't supposed to be able to harm the average living thing, after all. If it rent through monsters so easily, there was a purpose behind that.

But as it was dying, then he found time to look up, half of his mind focused on the monster and half of his mind focused on ( ... )
