Who: Ichimaru Gin (persimmonsplz ) & Re-l Mayer (proxysearch ) When: January 3rd Where: Siren's Port Prison Summary: Gin is in prison. Re-l works with the police. Put two and two together... Warnings: tba
[Re-l doesn't get a call that morning about Gin. She reads it on the news instead, more than a little surprised. She quickly dresses and rushes to the station, arriving there less than twenty minutes after the sirens have gone off. It doesn't take her long to get the entire story: Gin's been charged with aiding another criminal. Someone tipped the police off, but she doesn't have a name yet.
It doesn't matter. She'll find it out eventually. For now, she takes Gin's case and gets herself some caffeinated tea; she heads into the prison and to the back, disregarding anyone who attempts to go with her.
She opens the door to Gin's section and wanders down the hall, eying the few other prisoners in there. She gets to the end and stops in front of his cell, looking at him. Annoyance riddles her face, but she keeps the emotion out of her voice, sounding more exasperated than angry.]
Why is it that we never seem to see each other under normal circumstances?
[There's a brief moment where Gin thinks he can recognize those footsteps, but it's too much of an inconsequential thought for him to really care. He's caught mid-face rub when Re-l speaks, and the straightening of his posture says that, of the various people that could be seeing him right now, he certainly wasn't expecting her.]
Ah-
[... Should he be happy or wary to see Re-l, though?
... Maybe that's what happens when you get two unusual people together.
[She looks him over, glad he's not hurt. She's surprised he's not angrier about what's happened to him, but that's just how Gin is. She leans against the bars a little, peering at him.]
Hi.
[She's not sure if she's angry or concerned. She leans towards the former.]
[That's a heavy "yeah", though, and Gin lets it hang in the air before standing from the bed. The way the prison's uniform hangs off of him is almost comical - the pants are long enough, but the waist clearly too big, and his shirt is all sorts of wrong, only remedied by the fact that Gin rolled the sleeves up to his elbows.]
[But never mind that. The bars of the cell is their meeting place, and that's where Gin walks towards.]
