[At some point while she was sleeping, a guest appeared in her room, pulling up a chair over alongside her bed. Armed with several large thermoses full of coffee (as well as a few cups purchased from nearby shops), Godot is keeping a vigil nearby.

And he doesn't look so good. He sits with his fingers laced together, leaning forward on his elbows and apparently staring at the floor. He doesn't say a word to any of the hospital staff who address him-- some of whom even recognize him.]

[She fidgets a little with her free hand, glancing over to him]

Um... Mr. Godot... I appreciate it... but you don't have to do this.

[beenwaitinglong]

I'm not leaving. So you shouldn't waste the energy trying to convince me. [It took a lot for him to go to the hospital anyway, and he definitely wasn't about to let her chase him out.]

You did the same for me.

[Ngghh...]

This is different.

[Re-l brings Maya something a little different, something almost uncharacteristic of her: a blue stuffed dog. She has something else, but it's not in her hand for the moment, and she goes to the girl's room with no trouble. Daedalus has shown where she is and he's given her full access to the room; she won't allow Grimmjow near her.

She knocks before she enters, but then heads inside.]

Hello, Maya. How are you feeling?

[Maya looks up. She'd been told Re-l came for her... So she tries to straighten out a little bit and not be so down]

Ah... hi, Ms. Mayer. I'm okay.

[She notices the dog]

... Is that for me?

[proxysearch]

[All of these tubes and wires... This is ridiculous. That bastard, doing this to her.]

I'm glad to hear it. And yes, this is for you.

[She crosses to her, giving her the stuffed animal.]

[She tries for a weak smile, taking it with her free hand. It's really quite cute]

T-Thanks, a lot... I really appreciate everything you did.

[ Apollo was worried- the minute he was able to leave the office and make a visit to the hospital, he did, nerves and images gnawing at his thoughts since he saw that post- he wasn't . . . used to so many bad things happening. to people he knew and who he considered friends. to people he didn't know, regardless. he's never been so stressed, so panicked in his life, he's probably . . . never cried so much either in the span of four months. agh.

agh. he can imagine Phoenix-

he was relieved though, extremely relieved when he learned she was okay. knocking first, then stepping into the room, Apollo slowly made his way in, looking for the chair and for the medium. ]

. . . Maya?

[ It was a rather quiet call, just in case she was asleep. when had her in sight, he lowered his head, walked over to the bed, forcing a small smile, and holding a hand behind his back. the one holding a small bouquet of flowers. ]

[Maya looks up when she hears the knock. She can't quite manage a smile yet, but she looks at him]

Hi, Apollo.

[judicatory]

Hey- [ sitting down, he offers the flowers; they're a simple, lavender color with light yellow petal tips, wrapped and held together with small ribbon. Looking down, he's silent for a few moments, before breaking it with a shaky sigh. ]

Feeling better?

[Maya's actually not a big fan of flowers, but she smiles a little all the same, taking them in her good hand and looking them over]

You didn't have to... thank you, Apollo. I'm okay.

... How are you holding up?

[Edgeworth's face is grave, his eyes shadowed, when he comes to her door. He hovers in the doorway, trying to tell if she is awake, rather hoping she is not. She looks...terrible. He would rather that he'd never had to see her like this.]

[After a few seconds, he can see movement. She's fiddling with the stuffed dog Re-l brought her one-handedly. She hasn't noticed him]

[He sees she's awake, but he sees she's looking away, too. He swallows and turns away.]

[She loses control of the toy as she's fussing with it - it plops down on the ground about a foot away from the bed]

Ah!

[...and, it's time for the doctor to be making his rounds!

It's early in the evening, about a half hour after siren, when Daedalus enters the room for his first check-in on her since the previous night.]

Miss Fey! How are you feeling?

[Maya looks up, rubbing at one of her eyes with her good hand]

Hi, Dr. Yumeno.

Um, I hurt myself a bit earlier, but... I can't really feel it now.

[gaveherwings]

[A frown. He approaches the bed to take up her charts, peering over what the last nurse through had marked there, what healing treatments had been done in the last nine hours.]

You hurt yourself?

[acemedium]

[OOC: Ahh can I leave that up to you? I CAN ONLY BS SO FAR]

A little... I kind of jerked suddenly by accident and it hurt for a bit.
