As soon as he'd heard the panicked call from Jinx, Billy rounded Teddy up and they were on their way as fast as teleportation could take them. It didn't occur to him to wonder just then why she had asked specifically for the two of them. All that mattered just then was that a friend was in trouble.

He'd already been to Jinx's apartment, so he knew what to expect when they teleported in--or at least he thought he did. It was a lot darker than it had been the last time, with a kind of flickering light, just like...candles? A looot of candles. His first (stupid) thought was that maybe Jinx was being sacrificed to some demon in a bloody occult ritual, and then he actually saw her, and...

Oh. Shit.

It took Teddy a moment longer to look over and realize what Billy was looking at. When he saw her his eyes grew wide and after a long moment of staring he glanced over at boyfriend as if looking for conformation of what he'd just seen.

No one seemed in any hurry to speak so Teddy took it upon himself to start the conversation. "So, uh Jinx, I take it you're not in any real danger?"

It was good that Billy had teleported in. It really would have put a damper on the vibe if they busted down the front door. Of course she felt their combined presence the moment they popped into existence in front of her, but she chose not to acknowledge them at first. She had to finish sharpening a claw first. It was not until Teddy spoke up that she put down the file and looked up at the boys. Her face had a dull shock to it as she put a hand in front of her mouth.

"Oh, no. You don't understand. I'm in grave danger." She recrossed her legs slowly, then bobbed her foot a little. "I have a terrible condition, embarrassing really. You see, if I don't have handsome, young men in my bed at least once every month, I'll die." She withdraws her hand a shrugs before she stands up from the couch

Billy glanced sideways at Teddy, completely at a loss for words, before looking back at Jinx. Because really? He was a little...maybe awed was the right word, that she'd actually try to pull off something like this. The mere thought of trying to seduce someone he'd known only for a few weeks--no, not someone, someones--was terrifying to him, but maybe that was because his experiences in these ventures were very, very limited outside his thing with Teddy.

So he had to give Jinx her due for sheer gumption, though unfortunately it didn't change some basic...anatomical problems with the situation. He swallowed hard, well aware that he was very, very red. "Jinx?" he managed very tentatively at last. "The thing is? Me and Teddy? We're kinda..." He was faltering for an explanation, which he usually didn't--they were gay and they were together, that was that--and really kind of hoping that Teddy would somehow manage to save the day and the dignity of everyone involved.
