The heat was ungodly - ironic, perhaps, but Sousuke failed to see the funny side, clad in a loose yukata where he stood in his back garden. It had been a cheap request of a local tailor, not much owing to the simple design, and the shinigami was more than grateful he had thought ahead to his ease his preferences with sweat beginning to bead down his temples.

Holding iced water, he glanced up at the sound of a bike and walked around the house to the front porch, scanning for his scheduled visitor.

Alice's bike rolled to a halt as it reached the gate of Aizen's cottage. Clad in white shorts, sneakers and a light t-shirt, Alice seemed to look less of a nurse and more like a student coming over to see her favorite teacher. She spotted him out on the porch and beamed, unloading the dinner ingredients from her bike's basket.

"Did you wait long, Aizen-san?" She asked, approaching the gate.

Swinging open the gate, he held it for her to bring inside her stash. Just how much had she spent on ingredients?

"Not at all, I've been baking in the sun as a starter. Crisp shinigami, soft on the inside with a slightly hot edge. Does it sound appetising?"

Actually, Alice didn't spend so much, if you asked her. She liked keeping a stock of good food in her apartment, and salad ingredients were a staple in all the meals she ate. The meat, though, was the real treat for the night.

"A-Aizen-san!" Alice pouted at him, wondering if she should laugh or be playful back at him. It sounded like blatant flirting to her. "Well, if you're soft on the inside and crisp outside, I'm sure you'd make a very good meal." She smiled, playing along as well as she could. Aizen sounded like a creme brulee.
