Maybe a radio as well, it'd help keep Rikku entertained during her stay and stop her bouncing off the walls.

Catching sight of the man with the leather satchel looking over the computer things she tried to excuse herself to see if he needed help, but the offer for plates just jumped to 30 dollars. "Miss, you could get these for new for that much, and this woman was here firs--" and they argued more.
Frustrated she waved Nick, her friend over to him, pointing! Look, look! A sale!
Taking the hint, Nick wandered up to the man, smiling. "Ah... here for a computer? I'm surprised no one's made off with them yet!" he chuckled.

"It's surprising to see such a large and varied collection on sale. I confess the Any price no matter how low drew me in, being a little strapped for cash as of late having taken in a child who would otherwise have had to brave the Darkness, paying for dual necessities. It's important to help our fellow neighbours during hard times though, don't you agree?"
He gestured to the first laptop.
"How much would you be willing to let this go for?"

None the less, he was going to sell up these laptops as best he could. "Ah man, this one here? This was top of the line a year ago. A real nice one. If I remember right he got it for a hefty sum. Great for movies. Such a nice... hard drive." Yes, it was true, he had no idea what he was talking about other then the fact that the computer was full of movies.
"You're right though. Mels' said any low dumb price, so... got something in mind?" Of course he is thinking 50 something dollars is a ridiculously low price...

"Hi there!" She said cheerfully enough, coming up behind this hopefully paying customer. She popped her gum before continuing on. "What are you looking for? What can I help you with? Is there something you want?"
Without really giving the girl a chance to respond Rika pointed in the direction of one of the larger TVs.
"Do you want that TV? I could get you a good bargain on that TV."

“I like about ten of those, for five cents each. So fifty cents all together.” The young prince gives the women a level and confident gaze. Oh yes, she could barter with the best of them, or so she like to think.

Did she have enough to eat? Enough -good- to eat? It was a delicate subject to approach though, so for the moment she hung back, lips pursed in thought as she thought about the best way to introduce herself. (Way to look like a stalker Teef :p )

June was not pleased with having to take up her time to be here. Damn Mels for actually being a decent enough friend to want to help her out. And speaking of Mels, the poor woman was still stuck with the bitches from hell fighting over plates. So complaining she'd gotten stuck with a solo weirdo and a toaster was probably silly. ...whatever.
"Seriously, you want to keep fondling the toaster hand me a dollar and it's yours, or put it down so someone else can take it home." She said, crossing her arms.

Tilting his head to the side, Hanatarou reads the sign out loud, "Cheating ex-boyfriend garage sale," blinking, he wonders out loud. "So the boyfriend is selling his old things at his girlfriend's garage sale? That isn't very nice. Or, conventional, really..."

He wandered the lawn and home for a while, poking through cabinets and drawers, opening bags and boxes until he finally found what he was looking for! It was a very nice camera (well, to him anyway, but don't tell him it's probably not what Mssrs. Spielberg and Lucas are using and all will be well) and, perhaps best of all, it had its very own case! With a handle!
When you did not have a home, a backpack, or even a pair of jeans pockets to put your stuff in, things that came in their own cases were very highly sought after. Delighted with his newfound treasure, Pesche zipped the carrying case closed carried it along to try and find out the price of it.
"Hellooo?" He called. "Salespersons? How much does this cost? I am interested in buying it!"

No. Really. WHAT the hell was that? First the scary guy with the hook, now this damaged bug super hero? Sometimes this city made him wonder. As it approached him though he could't help but let out an audible "Ewuh..." and draw back. It was much bigger then he thought too.
Nick couldn't help but stare at the thing holding a old case in it's hand. "Ah... you want to buy that?" he said, not looking at the case. "How much do you have?" Did it have money? Or would it try to eat his face first?

Oh my! They liked to get down to business when dealing with a cheating ex-boyfriend's things, didn't they?
"Two dollars!" He announced, more proud than he was ashamed of his lack of cash and his inability to know just how much a video camera (with accessories! And a rather spiffy looking case! sure it was kind of scuffed but that just added to the charm!) was actually worth in human money.

"Ah. Two dollars..." he repeated, not really hearing what he said. His eyes moved over the weird guy again before holding a hand out. "Sounds perfect." Two dollars for a case. Sure. What ever this guy wanted. If he said no, would it have eaten him? Better not try. Just hold the hand out and hope it's real money.

She browsed amongst the living room furniture, hemming and hawing. It had been a while since she had gone to market, so she was going to have to guess at what would be a fair price.
Looking around she tried to flag the nearest seller (NPC!) with a wave and a smile.

She gave a tired smile as she approached. "Hello! Interested in something?"

She paced over to the armchair and loveseat, the ones with the matching ottomans. They'd make her couch look frayed and dumpy by comparison, but it was a start. "I was sorta looking at these, what were you hoping to get for them?"
This was the part she hated. She was good at haggling, very good, from her time trying to get the 7th Heaven off the ground and procure equipment for AVALANCHE but...this woman was hurting and all these people were picking through her life.

There was a pause she assessed the furniture. They had them for a year and a half now. Not too long, but they were worn. Not heavy wear and tear but you can tell they were used. The love seat was her favorite.
"Fifty dollars for the set. Seventy five if you need them delivered." there was a pause, and a small shrug. "Or give me a better offer that you can afford and we can make a deal."
