I was so focused on attempting to adapt to the change in setting that I have not turned to those who are joining in this. I am aware of the difficulties, however.

I've found that the best way to meet people is through work, eheheh. Although I've found that I've met most of my closest friends from talking on this network.
But - ah what do you wish to know about me, exactly?
Well, I sometimes cure boredom by fighting the monsters outside, hahaha. Otherwise, I like taking walks and uh playing video games.
As for jobs, I started out as a waitress at Coconut's, and then got another job -- during the night -- working as a server at the Lux. Eheheh, but then I got fed up with Coconut's and quit, so now I work at a coffee shop, during the day.
I'm was fortunate enough to have good references for all three jobs, heh.
Oh, that's nothing unusual. I've been here about a month now myself- ...crap, that means the apartment lease is up-
-er, but anyway, I guess this place is so overwhelming that there's really no definite place to start for figuring things out.
[Well, he's bored, and the guy sounds sincere enough.] At least that's what I feel from my standpoint. I'm just a high school student from Japan that feels like he's just been thrown into a sci-fi movie or a combination strategy-survival-RPG.
[He nods.] Yeah. I guess there's quite a few Japanese around, though.
[That gets a bit of a strange look. Well, he supposes he can't fault the guy for being determined. The only person that he'll ever worry about having that sort of look will always be Haruhi.]

I'm guessing that things here are a lot different from what you're used to? Assuming you're from Japan but figuring with the time-space-world-what-have-you differences, anyway...
