Oh, that's nothing unusual. I've been here about a month now myself- ...crap, that means the apartment lease is up-
-er, but anyway, I guess this place is so overwhelming that there's really no definite place to start for figuring things out.

Ah, sorry. The name's Kyon. -well, actually it isn't, but it's become the nickname I've been stuck with for as long as I can remember so I just have to go with it. [He gives a brief bow of his head.]
Pretty handy, isn't it. Safer too, considering who knows how many weirdos there are in the city. I much prefer there to be some distance with such open modes of communication.
Ah...no, maybe it's just a conversion issue. -but yeah, we get some pretty sweet technology. Our phones look better than the American ones I've seen pictures of.
