Such as...gaining phenomenal strength, or psychic empathy, or rapid metabolism.

So they are not limited to physical prowess, then.

How helpful your words are.

It varies per person. Some people gain healing abilities, others gain invulnerability or awesome strength. I can only guess that it has to do with the radiation from the Core.

[ he has no idea what 'radiation' means but he will skip over that for now. ]

I assume the selection of such gifts is random.

Generally, yes. I can't speak for every case, however.

[You're getting voice, because she hates texting and only does it with strangers or if she's in an especially bad mood. Usually.]

[She pauses for a moment, trying to think of something else to add.]

I guess it's not your favorite holiday then?

So I've heard.

[ if text could convey disdain, his response would be dripping with it. ]

Where I am from, people see no need to waste a day on such trivial matters.

[She goes into a surprised silence for a couple of moments after receiving the text before speaking.]

Actually, I didn't get the point of it either, haha. Seemed kind of pointless, you know? Do you really need a special day to get people stuff? Isn't that what Christmas is for?

[ the response is pretty prompt because he simply does not get why people made such a fuss about valentine's day. ]

If one cares for another, such an emotion should be expressed through actions, rather than sweets and flowers. It is pathetic that people should come to depend so much on such insignificant displays.

Do you believe in love in any real way?

text. exarticulated February 17 2011, 00:24:31 UTC
It is irrelevant to the matter at hand.
