I have heard of neither of those places, save in stories, but unfortunately Siren's Port is entirely cut off from the outside world. The Pull keeps us all bound here.

Who is the Pull? Why are they keeping the Port under lock-down?

The Pull isn't a person. It's more like a force. The further you get from the town, the harder it gets to resist, until it breaks your resistance entirely and you can go no further. Some say it's an effect of the Core, but you'd be lucky to get close enough to investigate it. Apparently others have died simply by being near it.

Unfortunately, nobody really knows who's behind it. It does defy most known laws of nature.
