[well, now! That classy-yet-casual-looking restaurant in the background just happens to be Brooke's - the new Brooke's, remodeling all finished. Sanji himself is dressed up in a new shirt that perfectly compliments the orange tie Alice gave him, and putting on his best suave-face for the camera ( Read more... )

Come down to Brooke's. It's in sector three, on [some] street - look for the pirate flag flying over the building.

What can you do?

A... pirate flag?

I can cook, but mostly Asian food. Really, I'll take anything.

Yeah. We're all pirates, here. Well, mostly.

I don't know the difference between the countries of this world, but the cuisine is often similar. Show me what you can do, and if I like it, you're on.

I'll try some...as long as it's not like that weird restaurant on the newsfeed.

Ah, I saw that. It's an interesting concept [read: relevant to his interests] but people can only be amused by risque-looking food for so long.

It's a normal restaurant. A mix of cuisines, based on what I've picked up abroad. Seafood, pasta and noodle dishes, artistic bento - all kinds.

I don't get what they mean by riqsue-looking food...

Sounds good- so....we get to try food for free, if we tell you what we think?

That's pretty much the deal. A free dinner is a small price to pay for refining the menu.

You're hiring people to test the food?

[One eyebrow quirks up at that. It seems like a waste. Unless... Unless Sanji was just trying to meet more women. Zoro scoffs at the thought.]

Your pervertedness is showing, cook.

No, I'm asking for a favor from them. They get dinner for free, that's all.

You don't count, you never appreciate my cooking anyway.

.........wait how is...shut up, seaweed-for-brains!

I'd be happy to help out in any way that I can! It's the least I can do for taking care of me and letting me stay here with you. I'm not very good at cooking, at least not dishes that everyone here might like but I can assist you or be a waitress or even just wash dishes!

And you don't have to get me anything, really! I'm afraid I haven't had time to get gifts for you either...

Aww, Vivi~, I would never make you ruin your beautiful, soft hands by washing dishes! But...well, if you'd like to be a waitress, that could help out a lot.

At least let me make you a splendid dessert? It's the least I can do!

I'd love to be a waitress! I'll do the very best that I can!

And...perhaps you could teach me to make a splendid dessert? I'd love to learn how to cook and you're the best chef I know! If you're not too busy, I mean.

Ohhh now Vivi wants to steal all my secrets like she stole my heart~. It would be my pleasure, any night after sirens when it's quiet around here and we have the kitchen all to ourselves.

I can cook.

Can you, now?

Yours truly is head chef, but I could use a hand. How good are you?

Better than most.

I'm not a chef, but I've been cooking before I was ten.

That's about how long I've been cooking.

Come on by and give me a demonstration. If I like it, you're hired.
