So, guess who's been largely undisturbed by the most recent seismic activity. He's not terribly bothered because it doesn't need to affect him and he's been in the bowels of Nueva Las Noches, which he's pleased to learn is made of sturdier stuff than the ramshackle buildings of various mortals on the island.
He knows a great many of you think he's a monster; it says something that he doesn't care who you are. The background of this transmission is stark, the finery self-evident in the pure white surfaces on display of the penthouse-come-throneroom. You see, while everyone else has been running around like headless chickens, Ulquiorra has been chatting about how stupid they are and Grimmjow feels the need to treat the sea like his personal fish-tank, Sousuke has added an underground level to their now not-so secret abode.
Why should it be? If anyone storms it, he'll have them killed.
Thus, Nueva Las Noches (or just the high-class room behind him on view) is now additioned with a basement; a laboratory, in fact. One might imagine how sturdy the new wards and kidou around the castle are, Espada able to sense a shift in security sometime during the early morning. (Where did the money to fund all of this come from? Several hypnotised bank officials meaning 99% could answer that and tell you they have no idea what you're talking about.) Anyone with spiritual sensitivity/telepathic tendencies will certainly notice the slam of the castle's presence as he makes it publically known, unveiling the indomitable fortress in the depths of Sector Seven's forests from any illusions. Anyone who doesn't know Aizen may assume he's being an arrogant so-and-so (and he is) by letting this little city know where he's chosen to set down roots, but others will know there's a reason for such a display of casual confidence (namely being Aizen Sousuke) and this is merely to be treated as an Oh, that's where the evil people play moment.
Crossing his legs, he slumps comfortably in his winged stone armchair. Most definitely shattering all those suspicions into out-right beliefs. Yes, he is a monster, but he's also the most feared, a king on a throne that he'd love for someone to try and take from him (go on, try, he looks so homely) so watch your tongues. (Ironically, if anyone's polite enough, he might just be tempted to start up an actual acquaintance.) The casual clothes are gone, replaced with the robes he's personally chosen for himself.
Glasses are all very well, but he's tiring of games. Don't approach the migraine-inducing structure if you're spiritually weak! Lastly, the Espada may note a new slew of the Carry On films playing on the televisions. Maria is out (sorry, Grimmjow) and ¹Sid James is in. ]
