I was thinking it might make an efficient guard for a hydroponics garden, actually. I tend not to keep anything other than a garden, as my particular body chemistry is not always the best for them.

It takes a bit of an effort - and ingenuity - to create a plant such as this. It'd be nice if I didn't have to worry about the well-being of every plant, but I would hope you could see why I don't want this baby to fall in the wrong hands.
However, at least you care enough not to take on something you can not properly care for. It's more than I can say about most humans.

What other modifications have you made? Any poison or paralyzing secretion to subdue the prey or is it a trap which catches the prey and refuses to release it?
