It's very disappointing that there's been no public health address about this by now, but since the city administration hasn't taken any action, the distributors don't want to step up and take responsibility, and the press doesn't seem to care, a word of caution:
Please avoid consuming Fazt*Kicz Energy Drink, a new line of 'Juiced' caffeine and vitamin supplement heavily promoted last week. We've seen well over 35 patients who have consumed the free trial batches been complaining of symptoms such as mild hallucinations, fever, sever headaches and blurred vision.
When contacting the beverage distributor, they assured me that test batches showed no such side effects, but blood tests have shown trace elements of chemical hallucinogens...possibly from the canning process instead of the formula itself. (Although I'd call the high doses of caffeine in the product questionable also, especially without appropriate warning on the packaging.)
I was unable to determine how many cases of the product are contaminated and in circulation, but they should be placed under immediate recall. However, since I can't access Siren's Port's food and drug regulation standards, and their offices are not responding...additional consumer demands may be necessary.
