I haven't done shit, Kippei. I've got a spare room, and a basement with a bed in it, and I don't mind if you're late payin' the rent if you help around the house. It's a big place, big enough for a kid to run around in.

[his hand comes up to cover his face again, and his shoulders hunch up enough that his collarbone is visible at the neck of his hoodie. his fingers press into the hair at his hairline, and he makes a small 'hah' of breath]

I'll get a better job. I'll cook too, I don't burn everything.
