[The NV flickers on to a pane of glass, behind which are a number of mattreses and futons, labeled with appropriate prices. An observant person will notice Neji's reflection in the window, and even more so, the strip of dark cloth pulled across his forehead rather than his headband. Monsters can be found during the day in some places. Kisame encountered some odd things when he went to the bottom of the lake, I do believe.

Don't let Kakashi-san tease you, Neji-kun.

Hot vents that may have been radioactive. He received some minor burns and couldn't get too close.

He can be a bit single-minded.

[Brooke can be seen drinking tea at a table much like the first time they met.]

You know it's quite possible that the monsters are of the nature that the sunlight hurts them. Or perhaps they are merely nocturnal. They may have some sort of places in the poorer districts of the city where they hide out during the day.

[Mm tea. Neji glances up, considering something. Probably tea.]

Yes, it's a sensible conclusion- though I imagine attempts have been made to test it. I wonder the result. If any lingered in the daytime and hid away, that would make things interesting.

Although quite dangerous for those who might think they are safe during the day time. I wonder if some of the larger ones might even burrow underground during the day and were very good about covering their holes. It would explain how they 'disappear' during the day.

Naturally. And it would certainly explain a bit, though it would be strange that I haven't detected them yet.
