I have found this dog. Does it belong to anyone?

[Here, Castiel holds up a small brown puppy by the scruff of its neck in front of the camera. Said puppy simply dangles in his hold and does not seem very comfortable being handled as such. But doesn't really do anything to get away either ( Read more... )

Have you ever cared for an animal before?

I would recommend going to the library and taking out some books on the subject, in that case.

How cute!

Where did you find it? Maybe it didn't go too far from its original owner.

[Yes, 'cute' can go hand in hand with 'pitiful'.]

It was outside, on the second step of Icha Icha Paradise's backdoor. It was ... plopped on the step.

[A loooong pause. He's actually getting very good at conversing~]

Cutely.

[laughs and lightly rubs her finger on the screen of the NV]

I think anything he does will count as cute. Does he have a name?

[A nod.]

At a friend's suggestion, I have named this dog, Dean.

I suppose yesterday's statement about the rise in pet adoption holds true.

video? audio? ;; idk ilikeburgers July 1 2010, 05:27:17 UTC
... I don't suppose it is quite an adoption but more like apt shelter for something so pitiful. It wouldn't go away when I told it to anyway. Have you adopted an animal anytime recently?

Er--Castiel, mate, y'ever actually held a dog before? Have you ever held any animal before, I mean; that one looks a bit... uncomfortable, I'd say. Might want to set him down on a flat surface before you stretch him out.

[His reply comes sometime later later~ And he is standing in the bunk room.]

I did. It's now on the floor.

[He pans the NV camera to show how that puppy is pretty much plopped on his feet. It looks like someone dropped a brown fur cushion and it is now obscuring Castiel's sneakers from view.]

It wouldn't go away.

Yeah, so I see. The floor. Novel idea, that. Generally they don't go away, y'know, if they like you. They'll come round as long as you give them attention and food and all that.

S'ppose it's yours now, isn't it.

Considering the ... obvious love and affection it has for my shoes, I suppose I might as well be his temporary 'owner'. Though, you should know that I have not fed this dog. Anything.

It would not go away when I told it to. And insisted in being a door mat for store's back door. It was in the way of things.
