Well I suppose it depends upon the murderer doesn't it? If it was one of the gangs, or a mugger, most likely nothing. If it was a bounty hunter, perhaps they'd take the entire body for proof of the deed. Now if it was one of the monsters of the darkness... most likely eat it. Luckily I don't have skin so I don't have to worry about such things anyways! Yohohoho!

It could be a tactic meant to unnerve. Alternatively, they save the skin. Maybe they simply pack it away; maybe they're sewing it together.
