I believe, they're rather fond of sweet things. And of course, flowers.

Are you aware of that saying, 'you catch more bees with honey?' Well, that's bees, of course, not butterflies. The point is: butterflies and bees, though different, have a lot of the same interests.

Try being especially sweet. Also, hold some flowers. Although, it may also attract bees. If you attract bees, don't swat or they'll become angry and sting you.

Butterflies do not like boards of wood or pins. Those are completely out of the question.

They are very small. And fragile. I tried to catch one, but it died.
