[He is looking at the camera screen, lips pursed in a thin line and fairly expressionless if the small lines around the corner of his eyes and between serious eyebrows had not been present. Blue eyes are clear, unflinching and patient and staring, staring, staring; it is almost eerie, like he's probing through the monitor and past the network ( Read more... )

You know these things work better if you talk into them a bit more. It helps grab the attention of others? Might want to try that next time.

... I was unsure of what to say.

[Awkward? Yeah, ad infinitum.]

Hello. Was a good start. Got my attention for some reason...

Hi, hello, Help. Where am I? What brought me here? What is this place? Eek... monsters. Wow, dirt. Um... if two men walked into a bar... ouch. I mean something?

You're new, huh. Seems like a lot of new ones lately.

[He is ... even more confused.]

I was fairly certain there was no ... monsters in the perimeter. I also did not walk in to a bar. But I arrived in a sporting field; I believe you ... people call it baseball?

I am not meant to be here, however ...

[Monotonous.]

My apologies. I was unsure of what to say when making a very public address. I am unaccustomed to these things.

Of course, you are supposed to give your name, age, and measurements.

[ Also monotonous. ]

[Now he's just ... beyond confused. Monotonous but, very confused still.]

I ... don't think my measurements and age will be of any benefit. I am not advertising myself. Is that how things are done these days?

Hello!

[Tifa peers into the NV at Cas. He's almost like Vincent, just without the long hair...or the emo.]

Are you a new arrival to Sirens Port?

Hello.

[Head tilt.]

I am new here, yes. Is that a common occurrence?

Fairly common yes. It's been pretty busy recently, almost comes and goes in waves. Has a greeter come to speak to you?

They try to explain what this place is, and what it's like here, and about your free thirty days of living in the Tower Apartments. I could try, if no one's explained anything.

[She's a little mesmerized by how bright and blue his eyes are. So like Cloud.]

Living quarters is not ... a top priority to me, as of now. I have seen a building that fits that name when I explored the city briefly.

[A pause.]

Thank you for your kind offer.

[A beat.]

But I would really appreciate what knowledge you can share about this place. I have not been acquainted by a greeter, however.

... hello.

[Yes, he tried to sound a little more friendly. Except it's still flat. He is yet to figure out how make flat sound friendly and social.]

[either this guy is socially impaired or not all there. unlike some other people (hinthint: cohen) who make their mental instabilities apparent from the start, Snake gives Cas points for being trying.

...still makes the conversation kinda awkward, though. he scratches the back of his head, straining for something constructive to say.]

What the people who've replied before me are saying is true: you're in a town called Siren's Port, in Canada. From what we know about it, it draws in people from other worlds and timelines and traps them here for some reason we've yet to determine.

[He meets the silence with one of his own as well, the words simply being soaked in as he more or less ... stares unabashedly at this man who seems ... well, odd. Perhaps something irks him.

Such complicated behavior, these people have.]

You are not the first to repeat the same words to me. It is a popular belief and theory amongst many here.

[Lips thin at this point. Perhaps there is something about time travel and the heaven's powers that are simply just not solely exclusive to angels. And he did not know about it?

Is this God's doing? Truly?]

It's not a satisfying explanation. Popular or not.

I wonder, what are you hiding?

[An ill man. Castiel can't do much with a phone. It bothers him he can't do much but use a phone, really.]

... your assumption is incorrect. I am hiding nothing.

Everyone has something to hide. [This time it is especially obvious.]

It is a flaw in many to hide things they don't like. What secrets do you hide?

[Head tilt.]
