You do realize there are people with powers here, right? And two corporations who... can do whatever they want...

Okay sure. So it's some kind of magic or freaky sci fi technology I can't understand. [He shrugs] It's not the first time I've taken something on faith.

This has nothing to do with faith. I can completely explain it, but it takes a certain level of physics to understand.

Besides if angels can't even do anything about it, there's nothing to be done.

Yeah, St. Michael and Gabriel are here. And Lucifer.

Sure they aren't just crazy guys pretending to be angels?

Yes. Michael restored part of my memory and I was the first person to ever give him a Christmas present. Gabriel recently lost a child and there was wing ash all over. And I saw a piece of what it was like to live in Lucifer's cage recently.

We can't see their true form, so they have vessels. They look just like you or me.

Their true forms would burn out our eyes or something, right?

Exactly. I think there may be a few more angels here, but that's who I've come across.

So they have control of a power that can trap angels... That's fucked.

[aintnorain]

Pretty much. I mean the angels might be able to do something, but the energy is a sentient being and if they try and tap in, chances are they'll probably kill us all, including their vessels.

[He nods, looks a little thoughtful. This whole 'angels are trapped here' thing doesn't settle right and he's still thinks that she might be messing with him.]
