You say it as though something terrible came out of the mistletoe incident.

[He wanders over to stretch out beside Daedalus, nuzzling his cheek.]

Not everyone had as much fun as we did. I'd been meaning to do some kind of PSA. Must be all the time I spend with you.

Don't make fun of my concern for public health awareness!

[He pouts, sulking a bit as he tries to find some gentle way of easing the Pomeranian off his stomach without disturbing him, wanting to turn over onto his side.

A little cough, nose wrinkling, and the little jump of his stomach rouses Mr. Muggles anyway. He tucks the dog against his side, and swallows, an irritating tickle at the back of his throat.]

I can tell why this room is 'pet friendly'. (Oh, I miss my air purifier.)

[It's plaintive, the look he fixes Franz with. He isn't exactly in the brightest and best of moods, after everything. This displacement is so very different from taking one of their usual 'holiday' nights out at the mall. Security has been compromised.]

[Franz is similarly unsettled, though he'd scarcely admit it. It doesn't feel right to be here like this tonight. He does the only thing he can think of and kisses Daedalus on the nose.]

It's only for tonight. If there's a problem with the apartment, we can couch-surf until we found a new place. God knows we know we enough people.

I'm going to be out until Wednesday or Thursday. You two are welcome to stay in my apartment. It's...hidden unless you know the password, so it's ideal for you to keep out of sight if you're worried about security.

It's up to you.

[Excuse him from trying to be helpful? Yes, it was uncomfortable and embarrassing, but someone might try it again...]

I think we'll be okay. [He is trying, trying, trying not to sound annoyed at the thought of spending any time at Re-l's place, watching Daedalus creep around and study the place like an ex boyfriend that won't let go. He is cheerful. Reassuring. Really.]

It doesn't seem like any of our darkness-proofing was damaged. This whole thing was pretty much a fluke.

I didn't mean to bring out bad memories. I just thought everyone should be a little cautious of it, in case the prankster repeat offends.

Thanks, Blaine. [He really does mean that. And he could really use Blaine and Kurt's company right now, it's been a rough week.]

I think everything should be okay, so long as nothing is broken... we'll check the apartment over in the morning. But I really appreciate the offer. It feels like kind of a long time since I've seen you guys.

It really has been. I'm sorry about that. First the hospital, then us going back home, then our friend from home shows and then and I was sick, but none of those are good excuses for neglecting friends like you and Daedalus. I hope you can forgive me? [That question is said a little playfully, something to break the tension.]

If you need help cleaning or going over your things you know you can call me. I really want to make sure that you can feel safe in your home.

We clearly need to start texting each other just to keep up to date in our drama. [And while he does appreciate Blaine's comfort and offer for assistance, Franz doesn't much want to think about the shattered glass or the potential that darkness will destroy the rooms Kurt had so kindly helped them decorate.] Is your friend settling in okay?

Of course, thank you very much for offering. [He's pleased, and more comforted than he'd admit to hear Dr. Xavier's voice.] I just didn't want to put any of our friends out since we have a small creature with nervous fidgeting habits and the dog.
