Is there anything I can do to help? You know if you two need a place to stay our apartment is open to you.

Thanks, Blaine. [He really does mean that. And he could really use Blaine and Kurt's company right now, it's been a rough week.]

I think everything should be okay, so long as nothing is broken... we'll check the apartment over in the morning. But I really appreciate the offer. It feels like kind of a long time since I've seen you guys.

It really has been. I'm sorry about that. First the hospital, then us going back home, then our friend from home shows and then and I was sick, but none of those are good excuses for neglecting friends like you and Daedalus. I hope you can forgive me? [That question is said a little playfully, something to break the tension.]

If you need help cleaning or going over your things you know you can call me. I really want to make sure that you can feel safe in your home.

We clearly need to start texting each other just to keep up to date in our drama. [And while he does appreciate Blaine's comfort and offer for assistance, Franz doesn't much want to think about the shattered glass or the potential that darkness will destroy the rooms Kurt had so kindly helped them decorate.] Is your friend settling in okay?

I think she's settling in as well as anyone can. Kurt and I have taken her in though so he's not stuck in the Starter Apartments.

That's good. Kurt's made your place absolutely lovely. [He smiles a little, momentarily distracted by a little movement off-screen.] I would really... like a chance to catch up with you both in private, too.

I would too. When things have settled down for you?

[hisdiscretion]

[He sighs, a hand over his face a moment.] Seems like there's never a moment when things settle down... I'll call, okay?

[Blaine frowns a bit]

Okay. Just be sure to take care of yourself and your family first. [Yeah, Blaine just called the dog and Daedalus Franz's 'family'.]

[Franz smiles, looking drained.

They are his family. And it hurts a little bit - because that discussion not so long ago, the one where Daedalus preempted a 'no' to the proposal Franz hadn't even worked up the nerve for - it was all about being a family.]

[He grins a bit at that, because they both know that you can't really make Kurt do anything he doesn't want too.]

That's okay. Daedalus doesn't really like sweets and he'll scold me if I eat too many. [laugh]

We could convince Kurt to make 'healthy' cookies? [Though Blaine isn't sure how he feels about that idea.]
