[Spike's leaning against the back of his couch, looking very comfy and not at all eyecontacty.]

Having fun yet?

Aha! Are you part of the vast conspiracy to kidnap poor orphans and subject them to this place?

[Looks every bit as cheerful and charming as he sounds, ignore the sharpness in his green eyes]

If you are, well done. Though I must say, if this is the great plot of some evil cabal of super villains, your devious plan is ... lacking in impact.

Oh. Reformed, eh? Well. Good for us, I suppose. Especially if you're here to smash the evil cabal of kidnappers.

From a place? What's that supposed to mean. It isn't as though he's a- a secret.

Are you American? That's a strange sort of accent you have. [Snaps his fingers]

I don't know anyone, really. Heroes. Villains. Mutants. They all do their own thing on the glowing world stage and the rest of us try to live our own mundane sorts of lives, you know?

The ladies prefer a confident, fast talking man.

[ Despite her deceptive looks, Clover is all of eighteen!!! So she can snicker at him a little, in a friendly sort of way. ]

Sure they do, but it helps if they stick to one topic at a time.

The name's Clover. Nice t'meetcha.

Then it stands to reason you're all doing it wrong, lady. I don't want to seem flip but - and it might help if I went back and read all those silly signs put there in that odd holding pen- but this all seems very not credible.
