Ah. It is, indeed, a relief to know that the distress has passed and those stream of nightmares have finally ended.

[And they have been, for quite a few days.  She only announces it for those still ignorant -- however few there were, by now.]

[ A soft chuckle at that, followed by a yawn. ]

You can say that again. [ She thought she was done with the nightmares - and she slept little enough as it was. ]

It's sweet of you to offer to be someone to confide in for people though, Caster. [ And then a heavier pause. ]

Oh bless it, I knew there was something I forgot. [ Well the indoor garden was almost done at least. ] I'm not planning on dressing up myself. Are you?

[ She smiles softly. ]

Have you still not had the time to rest up fully?

Oh, but yes, I was planning on partly dressing up. I was just thinking of adding something small, like a mask or a feather.

But are you sure that you don't want to take advantage of the occasion to dress up in something nice? There was actually a costume I passed by the other day that I thought would look lovely on you.

[ Like that pretty white gown. ]

[ Voice ]

I get the majority of my rest on the weekends. [ But she's been debating whether or not to quit one of her jobs. If she can just get Hattie to get off her butt and work ... ]

You could always combine the two and wear a feathered mask. [ Helpful! She blinks in surprise at the latter comment though. ]

Because you have those two jobs on the weekdays, right? [ Then, a bit curiously: ] How many hours do you usually have left for rest?

Oh, that isn't a bad idea, actually. I appreciate the suggestion. I will certainly consider it.

As for what it was... [ Another smile as she reconsiders telling her forthright. ] If you're not busy tomorrow, how about I show you in person?

Well, right. And it depends on which day. I can usually sneak in up to five hours of sleep most days. It was a bit of an adjustment. All the same I'm considering changing my hours so I can go in later and get a little bit more sleep on the other days.

[ The ones where she has only 3 hours of sleep or less, - or doesn't sleep at all, that is. ]

Tomorrow? Sure. I'll be free at five if you want to meet me at Club Zero, and we can go from there.

[ Voice ]

[ Oh, Ella. How you worry her. Caster doesn't say anything about it right now, but she'll get there later. ]

Then I shall see you then, as long as you aren't too exhausted.

[ Bah! She'd wave off that worry. Five hours of sleep is nothing big. ]

I won't be, trust me. I'll see you after work. I'm kind of curious what kind of outfit you had in mind, really.

[ Caster didn't expect to visit clubs more than once during her time in the city, but there she was at Club Zero at five o'clock as promised. For the casual outing, she's dressed in a blue, off-the-shoulder dress that ends at her ankles, with a slit in the front.

She runs her gaze across her surroundings, searching for Ella. ]

[ Before finishing her shift, Ella took the time to change out of her uniform and back into her casual attire - a plain air of pants and a long sleeved blouse, with a leather jacket with fur lining on the inside. It was her favorite piece of modern attire. As always, she gazed at her tired reflection in the mirror, and when she was sure one was in the room, said quietly. ]

Wake up.

[ There. that would keep the feeling of sleepiness at bay for a while. She trotted outside, smiling when she caught sight of Caster. ]

I didn't keep you waiting long did I?

[ Action ]

[ She warmly returned the smile as she spoke courteously as usual. ]

Not at all. So, shall we be off?

[ Action ]

[ Ella smiled, sweeping an arm out in a courteous bow. ]

After you, milady.

[ She fastened the front of her jacket and tucked her hands into the pockets, falling in step beside the other woman. ]

Did you have any luck with getting people to confide in you?

[ Caster softly shook her head as they began to head out through the doors, her heels clicking softly against the ground as usual. ]

Not so far, but it isn't unexpected. Most people wouldn't be comfortable with telling a stranger, but I thought that I might as well try.

[ Giving Ella a sidelong glance, she added in a softer voice: ]

Speaking of which, how do you feel after having experienced all those nightmares?

Well it was nice of you to try all the same. [ Her smile faded a little at the question. ]

Relived that they're over? I ... when I did have them, they were ... pretty rough. But I've been to the lighthouse before. These nightmares are. ..completely different from the ones I had this time. A girl went missing right?

[ She's not had time to check the newsfeed, but she thought she'd heard the daughter or something went missing on the expedition. ]

That's right, along with two others who have yet to be found. [ She nods a little in confirmation. ]

So, you said that you went to the lighthouse before? Was it to investigate the mystery that I've been hearing about?
