[ Friday evening finds John out on the town and looking a reprieve (or an edge of excitement) that he desperately needs from time to time. unfortunately, the Block Party wasn't exactly his cup of tea, but it's not too difficult to find other means of entertainment in the port after remembering a few recommendations from his arrival

[Sherlock knew John had gone out for the evening, but this behavior was definitely unusual. Familiar for the detective, but not from his friend. He wasn't drunk; there would be more slurring, and John sounds extremely energetic. Hell-- what had he gotten into?]

John. Are you alright?

Sherlock! I feel really good right now. Great, actually!

[Dammit. Obviously some sort of upper, but what are the side effects?]

[Keep him talking and in one place. In the meantime, Sherlock is getting ready to grab his bike.]

[ John is having issues actually balancing the device and holding a conversation with Sherlock; he isn't in the mood to sit still and the varying volume makes that obvious. at least he's still milling around the subway though. ] The erm.. the Purgatory! They make a good caesar.
