how? he can vaguely guess why it might be happening, pinning down the symptoms with great effort, having researched this sort of thing while he was at Barts -- and even had the misfortune of experiencing the damage it can inflict on a personal level and it goes against every moral bone in his body to think it could...

...but now he's thinking about Harry; he isn't laughing anymore. she never touched this sort of stuff -- oh god, he hoped she hadn't -- but she had a habit of trying to escape the stresses of normal life by making the lines blur.
