I may be looking in the wrong place - some of the more expensive vases here look more like art pieces than flower vases. Ugly art pieces at that.

I suppose for here at least, it boils down to how many extras go into making the vase. But these more expensive ones look like they belong in a museum.
Personally I like simple and pretty. Something like... oh... [ She pauses, moving to the other side of the room and lifting down a vase that appeared to be pure crystal. ]
