Teaching basic hand-to-hand combat to a bunch of civilians who haven't had any kind of experience is only going to get them injured or killed. You're better off teaching them basic self defense instead of engaging a hostile.

I'd like to know how you plan on organizing things, and how can you make sure everyone is who they say they are. It'd be easy for a hostile to try and take advantage of the situation by masquerading as a newcomer.

I don't want to teach them to engage, enough defense to disengage and protect themselves. The first few moments of a fight are critical, and a little bit of training can make all the difference.

...have a lot of experience. Where I come from we had to fight against a Global corporation. I helped keep us together and in the end we won. I don't have to be in charge, but no one else has said anything.

It's less one person I'm worried about at this point. The attack on Club 24 was a small group, which suggests he's gaining favour and possibly a mob. I want to teach people to be able to respond to aggression quickly and be able to remove themselves from that situation just as quickly.

Fighting back is a possibility, but it's going to make the problem worse. Like another said, we need public favour, and we're not going to get that if we add to the chaos and violence of the situation.
