[Sora’s never been the studious type, but here he is, hunched over a table in deep concentration as he scribbles excitedly onto a paper that’s been folded over not once, or twice -- but so many times it’s likely to fall apart in his hands. Homework? Ha! Fat chance.
To the right of where he’s working on his master plan is a plain ‘Happy Birthday’ card, an envelope with no return address and an empty box. He’s wearing a some new duds and proudly so.]

[He sets the pen down and Voila! Finished. He turns the paper towards the screen. Not that anyone can properly read those chicken scratches. But maybe... a few items on the list are a little easier to read: "Magic carpet ride!" and "SHOW RIKU SANTA’S WORKSHOP!!" which is underlined in red. Or maybe the more tentative ones, written experimentally on the side column: Beast’s Castle! Dance Show Kairi the ballroom?]
It’s called a bucket list! You gotta think of all the stuff you’ve never done before, but you want to do. Even if it feels kinda silly or there’s no way to do it. No feeling embarrassed either! If you want to learn how to swim, you should write it, no matter what! And who knows, maybe one day, you’ll open it up and everything will be crossed off.
[He sets the list down and takes a moment to look over it himself. This thing has had a permanent home in his pocket for a while now. It has a lot of memories in it, and hopefully... a lot of new memories can be made too!]
Pretty neat, huh? Me and Riku and Kairi came from a place called Destiny Islands. It was really small. We always wanted to go sailing so we could visit all the worlds out there.
Since then, I’ve been to lots of places, and met all sorts of people. It’s way better than anything I could've dreamed up before.
[He rests a chin on his hand, running through the list a little more thoughtfully. Kairi would've liked this.]
... But I still think it would’ve been even better if I'd gotten to bring my best friends along, you know? Maybe... maybe when everything settles down and it’s safe again. Maybe when the three of us are all together again.
[A nod, more to himself than anything, and then he looks back at the camera with a grin.]
