you know, once somebody i like a whole lot told me that family was something really warm that could come in a lot of different forms. after that, a bunch more people told me it was something i had to figure out for myself. it was sort of confusing since i never had anything like that back home, but now i think that first person and i feel the same

Family are blood relations. The ones, or one, who brought you into this world and helped you survive. The ones who care for you and favour you well. The ones you would do anything to protect.
